ghd Mini Professional Styler Hair Straightener

My love of GHD stylers has been unwavering for more than 2 decades, now. I always had the standard size plates no matter what my hair style or length, but, I decided to have a cheeky affair with the GHD mini styler for my shoulder length hair and I am loving it sick! It feels lighter to hold, it creates tighter curls, making your hair appear longer and it knows its way around a fringe!! I highly recommend people give it a go.

I asked for my ghd straighteners as a birthday present. That was back in 2007. So I have had the same pair for 15 years now!!! No I don't use them every day, but they've never missed a beat. They heat up super fast and glide through my fine hair, usually I only have to iron each section once to finish straightening, no faffing around going over bits again and again. They are super hot but don't damage my hair. They've been worth every single penny and more. I don't know if I would ever use another brand of straighteners now and while they're still going strong, it'll be a very sad day when they eventually give up the ghost!

Good pricing direct from GHD with discount code. Replacement for existing mini GHDs so already knew how great they are.Never tried any other manufacturers as only GHD seems to do the mini version. Would highly recommend GHD straighteners.

Excellent for arthritis sufferer and for my hair!

I have been using the GHD Mini Hair Straightener for a couple of months now. They are very easy to use which is important as I suffer with arthritis in both hands, wrists, elbows and shoulders so my mobility is impaired. As the straighteners have a 360degree swivel cord, I am able to do my own hair. They are so quick to heat up and smooth on hair. Don't be fooled into thinking mini means tiny, they are just as good on longer hair if you need a more lightweight product than the full size, they are just so much more manageable. Brilliant for anyone who is perhaps a first time purchaser or is new to hair straightening.

Excellent! Very pleased

Had few pairs of mini straighteners but these are the first pair if GHD mini straighteners and what a game changer! Heat up very fast and although mini plates they are housed in full size straighteners which made them easier to manoeuvre. No hair pulling at all and straightening plates just slide through hair. Feels slick and smooth and does not break or damage my hair. Very pleased with purchase which was delivered very fast from Very.

Great for shorter hair

I'm turning 50 this year and had long hair until I was 48. Up until that point, I never did anything with my hair, never styled it, had no idea how. When I had it cut to shoulder length, we were still in partial lock down so I bought straighteners and curlers and practiced and learnt how to style it. I have the Platinum straightener and I do think it moves more smoothly over my hair but I needed this thinner one as my hair is now a little shorter. I like to create curl with it and it really does work well. It's worth the investment but I'd be curious to know if the technology was the same as the Platinum one or not.

Love my new slimline GHDs

I bought my new slimline GHDs 2 months ago after having my hair cut short. My regular width GHDs were a wee bit wide fir the intricate areas but the smaller set do a perfect job. They are so versatile! I love them! My bigger set will be fine for when I decide to grow my hair longer again but it’s good to know that I own the tools to complete the job well, regardless of my current hairstyle.

Mini GHD straighteners ideal for short hair

Having suffered from hair loss, as my hair has been growing back I have been trying to keep it straight and tidy, using original GHD straighteners, and suffering burns. I ordered the mini version and they are brilliant for my short hair, no burn, just easy neat hair which I am going to keep short, but just in case I change my mind I will keep my originals. Nothing can beat GHDs, I also have a GHD brush for blow drying which is the only one I can use. Buy what you know works GHD

Not as good as my old GHD straightener

After 13 years, my previous GHD straightener stopped working, so I decided to replace it with the same make. I am disappointed with this new replacement. It definitely doesn’t feel the quality of my previous one, and it also doesn’t seem to get to the same temperature. It pulls the hair in my fringe, and even though I’ve got short hair I have to go over it twice. I am going to take it to my hairdresser the next time I have it cut, to see what she thinks. My previous model also came with a lovely heatproof bag, this one only comes with a hard plastic cover to protect the end of the straighteners. Don’t feel that these are now worth the money.

Simple and Easy

I decided to opt for these because my normal sized ones were unnecessary for my very fine, fly away ear length hair (basically rubbish hair that bigger straighteners pull at).These are brilliant for me, spot on for my fringe.I'd recommend them for hair like mine and would buy these again, unless my hair maginally grows again after my awful hair loss (after years of curly long hair) specialists can't help me, so these do the trick to help me out and make me feel better about how it looks.Small issues, the open close hinge at the end can occasionally catch the skin on your hand and pinches. Easy to watch out for that though, probably the way I hold them. Try again and it comes on. Very odd. I wonder if anyone else has had that issue?I'd still buy them again and already recommend them to my friends!! Really pleased with my choice.
