ghd Rise Volumising Hot - Brush

LOVE THIS! With so many mixed reviews I was torn whether to buy it! OMGosh my curls are so much more smoother and shinier than when I use my straightener. 100% recommend. My hair is naturally curly but more wavy thanks to the excessive bleach use haha. My hair does hold curl better than naturally straight/fine hair so not sure if it’s a winner if this is you but similar hair types… BUY THIS! Great price compared to everyone too! 💕

I’m a mum of three with a small baby and a child with special needs who as anyone in NSW would know r home doing school.... shops aren’t open anyway and I have been in real need of a “glow up” Beauty Affairs helped me! How? First off, they have great customer service! They’re very friendly and get back to you straight away (given it is within working hours) the pack it and send it and I honestly receive it the next morning! Amazing! So glad I bought it

I am so glad I bought this. I was hesitant at first because of the price and also because I can achieve a wavy hairstyle with my straightener already. However, I gave it a go. It is awesome and I love it! I’ve become addicted to using it. It takes a few goes to get used to the technique, but now that I have the hang of it, it’s so easy to use and actually quite addictive! I love that I don’t feel bad using it every day for touch ups because of the safe temperature. It makes my hair look silky but also gives great volume. After using it, I feel like I have had a blow wave at the salon! I took off one star because the ‘waves’ did drop a bit by the end of the day, but not much more than curls would normally drop with my hair. Beautiful blow dry look

I love my ghd rise! I use it to create a blow out look without all the hassle and time involved in doing a real blow out with a hair dryer and brush. It is pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it and it heats up really quickly. I have also created some nice soft curls with this tool. My tip would be to have really clean hair when using it!

Exceeded Expectations

I bought this to use as an alternative to my curling iron to create a blowout look and wow, it has exceeded my expectations. The curls are beautiful, and the shine and smoothness it gives my usually frizzy hair is amazing! Definitely takes a few tries of understanding how to hold it and curl with it, but once you get the hang of it it’s pretty easy.

Finally found it

I have wavy and fluffy hair. This is the only styling tool that gives me the hair that I want. I let my hair dry naturally tucked behind my ears and then I use this to sort out the top layers. It’s amazing and now I love my hair every day. No matter what the weather. The secret is the non bristle bristles. My GHD straightener just used to flatten my hair and if I used it to make waves they would fall out. I use this brush vertically on small sections starting at the root and I get shiny, smooth waves that last for days. I love how it sorts out the front section of my hair too which was always the most difficult part. I’ve been applying Bumble and Bumble professional primer oil as well and that is next level. So happy with my hair now. It used to be a nightmare.

Great Device For Short To Medium Hair

I first saw the GHD Rise during it's promotional period, and was amazed at what I was seeing in the advertisement. I am totally hopeless when it comes to styling my hair, especially as it is so long - my hair reaches past my bottom. I decided to buy the Rise hoping it will help solve my styling problems, especially with curling as I adore loose curls. The Rise is definitely not a device that you will be a pro at using straight off the bat. There is a learning curve that takes quite a bit of practice, especially for hair styling beginners like me. Make sure you brush your hair properly, removing all knots and create clear sections. The Rise definitely delivers on volume, and I love using this device on my roots after straightening my hair to give it that extra oomph and lift. Unfortunately for me, my hair is just too long to get good use out of the GHD rise. From what I have seen from other reviews from women with long hair, they share the same disappointment. The only way you can get good use out of this amazing device is if you are a pro at hair styling. Despite this, the GHD Rise is still an innovative and amazing hair styler, and I would definitely recommend it for women with short to medium length hair.

This product came out at the perfect time for me! I was looking for a hot brush as I was finding my trusty GHD just wasn’t giving me the natural volume I was looking for. I had half made up my mind to invest in the Dyson Air Wrap set, which looked so pricey!! So glad this came out as it was so much less expensive and does the job perfectly! I combined it with some styling products from the Living Proof brand and my hair looked amazing! My dad even noticed that my hair looked different - not it’s usually messy, frizzy self, (and he didn’t even even notice when I dyed my hair in high school!) he said it looked like I’d had it done at a salon or something (Like a blowout finish). OBSESSED

I bought this tool 1 year ago, I have used it on long hair and short hair and have not stopped raving about it to my friends (who have also gone ahead and purchased this). This hot brush is easy to use and can give you such versatility, whether you opt for a curl or a big blow wave look, the brush takes away all frizz and leaves my hair incredibly shiny despite using heat. This isn't a brush that blows air on your hair like I originally thought - It is SO much better.

Smooths hair well but doesn't hold a curl

I bought this a few months ago and love it because it means I can smooth my curly ringlets when they dry with minimal damage. Only giving 4 stars because the curl doesn't really hold - and my hair usually holds curls really well. But I don't mind because I predominantly bought it to smooth my hair when it's dry with minimal damage.
