Received the white matte unplugged GHD’s, in the box came with the nice white heatproof case along with a USB-C charger and plug.I straightened my hair at 9am with normal plug in GHDs and then came back to use these as a top up about 7pm, as, in my opinion, this is their main function.The straighteners took around two hours to charge, I then used them for about 12 minutes and they were on 3/5 charge. It’s a nice touch that you can see how charged they are when you are using them so you know how long you’ve got left. They straightened my hair just as well as the plug ins and good enough that I would use them for “night out hair”.I also used them to make a few curls to see how they faired, and again I was impressed. I have long hair and wondered if the small size would impact how well they curled but was pleasantly surprised.I did also like the fact that I could walk to wherever I wanted to be with them, meaning your plug socket doesn’t have to be near your mirror!I’ve given these 5 Stars as I think they are excellent for what they are intended for which is top up hair E.g. at a wedding or a straight from work night out etc.

It didn’t take long to charge up and heats up fairly quickly when you turn it on.My only negative is that the outside of the straightener does get quite hot as you use it so extra care is needed when using it. However the heat protective case is very good so it can be put straight inside once turned off even when it’s still hot.Overall I’m really impressed with this straightener and I definitely think it’s a great addition to my hair kit.
