Gillette Mach3 Turbo Men's Razor, Handle & 2 Blade Refills

I’m a female and I love this razor! I saw on Instagram tips for girls and one was to get a razor that’s for men. At first it left me a little weirded it but the more I thought the the more it made sense. These razors are so much more gentle and less irritating that a razor a girl would use. Some men shave almost everyday on their face to keep it smooth and hairless so that means that razors would hate to be a lot more gentle and it is! It’s a great product.

Best Cartridge Razor You Can Buy!

If you're going to purchase a cartridge based face razor, this is one to pick. The handle is built well and is extra heavy. The Mach3 blades are consider the best way to go as far as cartridges. Anything less than the Mach3 is asking for a weedwacker to the face, and spending more is just buying into advertising for profit. As far as cartridge razors go- stick with this, buy the 20 pack of replacement cartridges only and use a high quality shave cream, and absolutely make sure you are using a real post shave balm (not a garbage cologne filled aftershave splash).

Fine daily shaver and replacement blades are still available .

This has a sturdy metal handle, where newer ones are only plastic . I took off one star as I had hoped this would replace my twin blade razor to shave hair immediately below my nose, but it is awkward for that task . Stubble rinses out well . This is a backup razor to my primary Schick injector adjustable I've used since the 1970's .The cassette blades are much more expensive than the injector blades, which are still available reasonably priced .

Gillet Mach3 Turbo

Mach3 Turbo, it even sounds cool, and yes it’s perhaps the best shaving handle and cartridges/blades in the wild. I first used it when I started shaving and that was a long time ago, I have occasionally used other razors too but I always got back to this one since it is just an awesome product. The blue lubricant that makes the razor glide smoothly on your skin seems to last longer the all the others I’ve tried. I got to thank Wallmart for providing this huge market place on line and the seller MYOSB who sold and shipped this great product from New York to California. at Mach 3 speed. 5 stars across the board.

Gillette Mach 3 Turbo makes your life much easier when shaving

The Mach 3 turbo razor is one of a kind due to its easy gliding feature that nearly eliminates razor cuts when shaving. The three blades easily removes facial hairs. I tried many other razors which included electric shavers and nothing came close to the mach 3 turbo razor due to it efficient and pain free shave. Even the higher-priced 5 blade Gillette Fusion razor was less effective when I tried it. The razor also features a moist aloe strip that helps to prevent the razor from injuring your face. I decided to use this razor a few years back just to try it out because I was to the point of desperation and would try anything. I was so pleasantly surprised with this product! These strips usually wear out about three quarters of the way through my shave. Bear in mind I'm shaving my entire head.I like to rinse the hair out from in between the three blades a number of times during my shave. You have a handle that you keep and you throw away the blades when they get old. The replacement blades attach to and detach from the razor very easily. The blade cartridge part just snaps on. The blades last a fairly long time. I think it would depend on how often you shave how long they last, but for us, with me using them everywhere a lady uses them and my husband using them everywhere on his face and neck that his beard doesn't cover, a pack of blades lasts us a couple of months. There's a little strip over the blade that is blue when the blade is fresh and it gradually wears down and turns white. That way you can easily tell before you get in the tub or start shaving with it if you might want to replace the blade. The blades are pretty pricey, but they're worth it.I like that it's a little bit more earth friendly than fully disposible razors. Yes, I still throw away the little blade cartridges and their packaging, but at least I don't throw away bunches of plastic handles that way. The packaging is a bit overkill,though. The cartridges are in hard plastic thing and there's some heavy duty plastic and cardboard wrapping over it (that's really hard to open). I don't see any reason they couldn't be on a cardboard card instead of all that plastic.I don't know why all the advertising I see for the Mach 3 is aimed at men only. It's awesome for women. I first used one when I swiped one years ago from my Dad because I was out of blades on the one I used ( a Personal Touch razor) and had a date that day that was going to require smooth legs. I couldn't believe how great it was. Guys had been keeping a secret from us girls all along. There was no need to have stubble or to nick yourself. I never nick myself on the ankles or the backs of the knees with a Mach 3 like I did constantly with other razors. I promptly bought myself a Mach 3 and told every other girl in the house and every other girl I knew that they needed to give it a try. They were all as amazed as I was. With all the surface area a lady shaves, why on earth was no one advertising this wonderful product to us?I've tried a lot of different brands and styles of razors, usually in an attempt to save money, but every time I venture away from the Mach 3, I quickly come back. A shave or two with anything else reminds me why I pay so much for Mach 3 blades.

What happen to Mach 3?

I've been using Mach 3 since high-school. It has always been my go-to razor. However, I am not of fan of Mach 3 Turbo. The blades are dull. I always receive cuts, and nicks when shaving. Also, the lubrication strip is useless. It doesn't prevent razor bumps. For those reasons, I'm searching for a new razor. Gillette refuse to improve the quality of the blades. Honestly, the original Mach 3 is the best.
