Giorgio Armani - Luminous Silk Concealer

I recieved this product complimentary in exchange for my opinion from armani beauty and bzzagent. I was recently sent the Armani Beauty luminous silk multi-purpose concealer in shade 2 neutral. Wow, I am so impressed with this Concealer that I have been using this product almost every morning after I do my Normal Skincare routine! I got the shade #2- Very fair with neutral undertones. This shade matches my Fair- Olive Skin tone perfectly and brightens up my under eye area. I like that this product is so versatile and you can use this in many ways! This product lasted 12 hours until night-time, when I do my evening skincare routine. I was able to remove this Concealer easily first with Makeup wipes. I fully tested all methods of removal including double cleansing using a Oil based Cleanser and my @glamglow Foaming Charcoal Cleanser. This product retails for $38.00 @sephora. The price may seem a little high but the overall quality and high performance reflects the price tag! I definitely recommend this Concealer to friends and family of all Skin Types. I'll be purchasing this product soon so that I don't run out. Overall, 5 out of 5 stars. Run to buy this Concealer because it is rare that I am this excited. It's great how amazing a little luxury can make you feel!

I was looking for a really good quality concealer to add to my collection and I’ve been eager to try this being the counterpart of one of the best foundations out there. This one is very very light weight with light coverage, and it blends like a dream. It was lighter coverage than I expected which wasn’t bad as I enjoy light coverage complexion products. I do let it sit for about 30 seconds before I blend it out so that it can retain the coverage. The finish is radiant even after I powder which can be good or bad depending on what you’re aiming for. Most days I love that it as it makes me look less tired and more fresh. It applies onto your face extremely smoothly, which is especially beneficial for your undereye area since you don't want the concealer to look cakey. In addition to this, this concealer also has a lot of sparkles in it, which helps highlight any area you apply it to even more. Because of this, I would not encourage you to use this concealer to cover up any acne blemishes or dark spots on your face. Even though the applicator is a sponge, it is not difficult to pull it out of the bottle, which helps make usage easier. In all, the only minor issues I found with this concealer was that the bottle seemed quite small, especially for the price. However, a little does go a long way and since I wouldn't use it for blemishes and the like, I think I will keep on restocking this product since I really liked how the small sparkles help my face look more glowy and bright. This is a very good concealer that you should add to your makeup bag if you are looking for a product that can highlight your face but not be too shiny.

I would buy this if my #1 was not available

As an Armani beauty fan for years, I have to say this is not the "best" that they have to offer. I have been a fan of the luminous silk foundation for years. At the opportunity to try this concealer, I was looking forward to a similar satisfying experience. In all honesty, this is a GOOD concealer. It goes on thin like the foundation and you don't need a lot. It doesn't settle into the fine lines unforgivingly- and it does a good job at covering darkness under the eyes. My only gripe was some sort of "sheen" that this concealer brings- a sheen that works in foundation but not under my eyes! If you use powder on top, the sheen does disappear but I usually don't powder under my eyes due to dry skin. So it was ALMOST there for me. I dab a small amount close to the inner corner of my eye, and another dot at the outside of my eye. I pat and spread it into place with my ring finger, and it blends into my skin beautifully. No cakeiness, no creasing. I have even applied it to my makeup free face after work, with no skin prep, and it performed the same. I did receive this product for free, but when it runs out, I will buy another bottle. It is pricey, but to me, it is beyond worth the price.

I prefer a fairly understated makeup look with fresh, dewy skin and this concealer compliments that look perfectly. The concealer is buildable and has a "glow" to match the tinted moisturizer I generally wear. I did feel like after a few hours my mascara started flaking off under my eyes and I usually don't experience that so I'm not sure if that's due to the concealer formula. My biggest issue is the packaging, I saw previous reviewers compliment the sleek tube, but honestly, it looks almost identical to my drug store concealers with the only difference being the GA branding on the seal. I received the luminous silk multi-purpose glow concealer by Georgio Armani. I will start by saying that I have never tried anything from this designer/brand before so I was very excited and eager to try something new and different. This one does not feel too heavy or "caked on", but rather lightweight and sheer. It does a great job blending in nicely and evenly, especially along the jawline. It has a nice consistency and feels like satin or silk on the skin. It also has a hint of glow to it, leaving you with a nice dewy look as an added bonus. I recommend giving this a try if you want a look that's a little more natural and dewy. I will use this for special occasions and the hot days of summer when the liquid foundation is just too heavy. I’m gonna say this straight up. This is definitely not worth the money. First of all I’m pale but not even that much and the lightest shade runs too yellow. It has little shimmer sparkles in the formula which I haven’t seen in any concealers before but there’s so many other ways to make a “radiant luminous” formula without adding sparkles in it. It’s also supposed to be light coverage but even for that it sits a little cakey. After maybe 4-5 hours of wear it creases like a MF. under the eye besides the creasing it looked fine I wasn’t wowed though. Definitely didn’t look great though. When I was applying this I noticed that the outer corner of my eye was watering and it reached the concealer. It completely separated it. I love the foundation but Armani should be ashamed of themselves for putting this concealer out with this price.
