Fully updated for the new season, Giro’s Ambient 2.0 Gloves offer better protection against wintry conditions than ever before. Astonishingly lightweight nylon is the key here, featuring an antimicrobial fleece lining that manages to both keep your hands warm and feeling fresh over longer distances, with breathability removing sweat from the equation before you even notice it building up. On top of that, the soft-shell outer layer has been finished with a Durable Water Resistant (DWR) treatment to shrug off sharp showers, alongside AX Suede microfibre on the palm. Speaking of the palm, here it has been specifically engineered to be as supportive as possible without weighing you down. Fitted close to the hand thanks to an adaptable three-panel design, it also features a thin layer of light gel padding to help shocks and vibrations at the handlebars from causing pain and discomfort. Not only that, there’s also conductive thread running through the fingertips, allowing you to use your phone and other touchscreen devices without removing the gloves. Reflective elements in all the right places round things out by keeping you confident riding through low light, making the Ambient 2.0 Gloves from Giro ideal for the discerning modern road cyclist.

These gloves do the job. They are warm, but still not bulky. Like the inside wrist closure mechanism. Fingers are a little stiff.

Needed a warmer glove to continue riding in cooler mornings. My fingerless summer gloves were too cold and wearing a thing mitten over them restricted finger movementI was worried about the thickness of these gloves and ability to shift gears easily. More than enough cushion.I was very comfortable this weekend in mid 50 degree with a mild cross wind. They absorbed moisture well and were easy to remove and reapply during a ride.True test will be colder and wetter weather.

When I bought these gloves ( from another shop not Pushys)I was told that they were very warm.Worn them a couple of times and I also felt that they become painful. Went for a ride yesterday when temperatures were low single figures, and once I removed the gloves found that my fingers were freezing.Went for a ride today and the pain returned so much so that my fingers felt more comfortable without gloves. So I’m not sure if the material retains the cold and then chills your fingers either way they are headed for the bin.

I use it in motorcycle. It can hold through the colder months and it has very good feeling to the hands . Its not bulky and you can do accurate moves .
Nicely made and comfortable but simply not that warm when it gets really cold. These won't get you through even a Sydney winter as they're good to about 6 degrees min. before fingers start to get a little painful.
What you sacrifice in mobility, you gain in warmth. Although they are a bit stiffer than most gloves, I was still able to use my brakes efficiently and my hands were toasty warm. Perfect for sub-10 degree Celsius weather.
Overall, great glove. I found the fit to be on the snug side, but you know "fits like a glove." I personally found that the glove was warm enough into the 40s but I would need something warmer to get down to the claimed 35 degree range. Also, it could be a tad bit more padded.
I normally wear size XL gloves, so I ordered these but they were too tight. I exchanged them for a pair of XXL but the fingers are still too tight. The finger diameter is not large enough and restricts the blood flow to my fingers a bit, which will have the opposite effect of keeping my hands warm. I'm disappointed since they seem like nice gloves otherwise. I returned the gloves and will need to try a different brand/style.
my wife and I set out for the first time on our morning walk/cycle today (22/05/2021 )wearing the ambient gloves.Air temperature about 3-4 C, confirmed by devices and Melbourne weather bureau.Gloves offered minimal protection, both of us returning with painful fingers. These gloves are advertised as being suitable for down to minus 2C.They were no better than similar gloves form Aldis at 1/3 of the price.I have at least 5 pairs of gloves for different conditions and these "ambient " versions do not fill the gap.Not happy with them.
These are advertised as being good for 2-7C.On a chilly Melbourne morning, where the temperature on local devices, as well as the BOM was shown to be in this range,my fingers were really painfull. They were not worth the money
