For the price you pay and the size of the bottle you receive, it's more economical to buy a high end bottle of perfume to use as a room spray.Smells like Tahaa mixed with cat urine. Bottle went in the bin after the first use.

I’ve been looking for a new perfume for a while but all of the ones I’ve come across always have a floral after smell which I don’t like but this perfume smells exactly what it says it smells like, it’s a perfect balance of vanilla and caramel and while the scent of sweet it’s not overpowering unless you spray a lot

Like others I had been waiting for this perfume to come out with baited breath however the reimagined version disappointed me.Would have to loved it to smell like the original candle, but something in the mix gives off a burnt/masculine smell. Could be that my body chemistry just doesn’t blend well with this new fragrance.Sometimes there is a reason why original is best.

As a long time lover of the Tahaa candle I was waiting a couple of months for this to come out, hoping it would be a new favourite floral gourmand fragrance. I'm so disappointed - it smells exactly like a fake tan that has been slept in. I had to wash it off, it was unbearable! I'm glad that I only bought the small bottle because I tried to give it away to friends for free and they all thought that it reeked of fake tan as well. Unfortunately I think that it's going to have to go in the bin.
Okay so, I'm a sucker for gourmand scents and have a while array of like scents....BUT... after reading the reviews I decided to buy it, luckily I got the small bottle and will have to mix it with other scents. VERY STRONG FAKE TAN scent. It needs work, it needs either more pineapple or something to add fruitiness and less of that burnt caramel DHA smell. I don't mind the smell of fake tan as it reminds me of good days and summer, however I need to have the result showing on my complexion as well.Please reformulate this. I have been wearing it for the whole day and it hasn't progressed or "settled" to any caramel or jasmine.Please reformulate this.

This is a truly wonderful adaptation from the candle/room scent to a perfume. It still hold the amazing qualities of the scent we love, but could still hold up on it's own. I picked this one up the day it was released. It starts off fresh and salty sweet, but still very much a caramel gourmand scent. As it dries down it mellows to a comforting sweet, smooth and creamy heart with soft floral notes and ends with a wonderful butterscotch caramel that lingers close to the skin. It has pretty decent lasting power and I could still smell gentle whispers of it the next day. I will be buying a larger bottle for sure. This scent just makes me want to curl up under fluffy blankets, drink hot chocolate and read a good book while the rain falls outside. There is just something ... I was waiting for so long to have this scent in perfume version, I'm a huge fan of the Tahaa affair candles since years. The scent is fantastic, but not a long lasting one, need to reapply it often. Good to have a mini in my bag.
