Fantastic set of knives. Have used most of them and all cut exceptionally well and feel good in the hand.In hindsight, I wish I had bought the slightly larger set in the bigger block. This block works as it should but the wood/transparent plastic mix doesn't seem to bode for me.

Really nice set of knives from a well-reputed Japanese brand. I was also pleased that the knife block set fit in nicely with my kitchen (marble counter top/backsplash). In terms of functionality, they are all weighted nicely and are really sharp straight out of the box, I've only really needed to use the pairing knife and cooks knife (bread knife on occasion) - I wouldn't recommend the 10 piece set for the average home cook.

Wonderful knivesVery light to useVery sharpShould have bought the complete set years ago. Only one issue, if you don’t dry immediately after washing the knives will stain. If they stain just scrub them up with say jiff.
Great chef knives, super sharp, lightweight and so easy to hold because they are so well balanced. Tip - if you’ve never used chef knives before, make sure to watch a few YouTube’s on how to use chef knives properly first, these knives are very sharp. The first two times I used them, I cut myself, but after watching videos, it’s much better!! Using these knives is a dream now!!
Bought to replace a set of Raco knives. The Global Knives are comparatively lighter and sharper. The transparent knife block allows easy selection of the knife I want.
I simply cannot fault these knives. Beautiful to look at and hold, the balance between blade and handle is perfect. Sharp sharp cutting edge that glides through whatever is being cut. I just love them.
Love this Global knife set. the knives are amazing, lovely weight and feel great in the hand. The block needs to be a bit heavier but that was the trade off to having a clear view of the knives. Just be careful when taking the longer knives out, if the tip catches on the block you might tip the block over.
Great value for money.Good quality knives.We bought these for one of our daughters, who is a chef, she was so impressed with the quality and selection, that we then bought the same knives for our older daughter for her birthday.
I have waited a long time for a decent set of knives and this suits my needs perfectly. I'm no chef but I like a knife that actually cuts properly and this set does not disappoint. They cut bread, vegetables and fruit like butter. Very happy with this set - highly recommended.
