Recently got the Global knives set. Have loved using them, very sharp so it feels effortless compared to our last set. I can't comment on how long they keep their sharpness over time as its been less than a week, but so far they are great when using. Have tried with root vegetables, herbs, and meat all have worked great. The look and design of the knives are beautiful and look great in person as well.Couple of small quibbles about the knives. The block has a slight rock to it left to right, which hasn't been an issue as its tucked against a cabinet and is quite weighty, but still wish it was a bit more stable. Also, worth noting the knife handles are quite slim which can lead to some discomfort depending on your grip, I found I needed to move my hand a bit back on ... This set of knives is fantastic - the right number and size of knives that serve every need in the kitchen. The bamboo block is designed to fit them perfectly while looking great in the bench and being functional at the same time. Very happy with this new set of knives!Highly recommend to others

Great knives, easy to hold, nice weight, cut beautifully and my fingers say sometimes too easily. First time in years that I can deliver a neat slice of bread
