Glossier Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid 30 ml / 1 fl oz

I've received this product for free from Influenster for exchange of my honest review. I tried it alone with my skincare. I personally didn't see a difference. It is pretty thick and it feels like it does like a sticky residue afterwards. I feel like you would have to set it. But mainly I wanted to mix it with a foundation to see if it would make it more glowy. I used more of a medium/full coverage foundation that is more on the matte side. I mixed it in and the foundation went on beautifully. The foundation wasn't bad before that, but I do like how it made the foundation look and how it went on with this product mixed in. It shears out the coverage, but I don't feel like it changes the finish of it. It didn't make the matte "glowy". This is an incentivized product review but I'm being honest about my thoughts on this product. I would give Glossiers Futuredew a 4.5 out of 5. This is because the facial oil is very light weight on the skin, it isn't sticky, and you don't need more than two pumps to leave your skin glowing all day. I love that the product is pink in color and it rubs into the skin easily. I love the amount of product in the bottle because you can use it for a long time. I didn't give the product a 5 out of 5 because I don't like the smell of the oil. However to be fair I can only smell the scent of the Futuredew product when I'm rubbing it in the skin. After rubbing it in I can't smell the product anymore. The packaging is gorgeous. The pretty pearlescent glass bottle has weight to it and feels like a luxury item. I was a little scared when I pumped it out - it is tinted and appeared that it would be the wrong shade for my face. Happy to report the color of the product does not translate after application. Appreciated that it is unscented. I applied about three pumps after my moisturizer had completely absorbed and it left a beautiful sheen on my face and it felt. So. Good. i've been using this daily for months and it is so good! unlike the instructions, you only need 1 or half a pump which you can tap between your fingers and then tap about your face (or use a sponge), so i love that the bottle lasts a long time. i like this over general dewy skin products because it gives your skin a glow, but where the light hits you it has a little bit of a subtle shimmer/highlight look: because of this, i've had people conpliment me on my skin/ask what highlight i use. For reference, I am in my mid 40s and have textured skin, with enlarged pores, fine lines and wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. Ok so I read mixed reviews on this, but I really wanted to try it anyway. First of all, the bottle and packaging is like REALLY beautiful and it wasn’t broken or hard to pump, etc. Secondly, it should be noted that this is as the last step in your skincare regimen, even after sunscreen. I was kinda skeptical bc I’ve never heard of an oil/serum that should be put on after sunscreen. But ohhh my god it really works! It gives my skin such a beautiful, dewy, glass skin finish, the kind you see on tiktok or Instagram. The oil/serum description is accurate, although I’d say this leans more heavily on the oil side. It has a strong earthy, herbal scent likely from the combination of oils, such as primrose and rosehip oils. The pump makes it very convenient to dispense. I have very fair skin, so I was initially nervous when it came out of the bottle peach colored, but thankfully it doesn’t tint the skin and blends out completely transparently. Its consistency is thick, so it takes some time to spread across the skin and fully absorb. It also leaves behind a sticky residue.
