I just recently rebought this product after i lost it after i used it for 5 straight months. this gorgeous color looks so perfect every time i or my friends wear it. just four dots on my lips are enough for the soft and kissable lip look especially for fall. great to layer, easy to apply, is SUPER hydrating, and lasts a looong time. when i first had it for the 5 months, it barely even went down and i used it every day. i think that lipstick would’ve lasted me for a whole 3 years haha. definitely recommend to anybody starting out with lipstick, like me. it for sure accentuates what gorgeous lips you already have and the shade ember, which i have, is the same one olivia rodrigo wears!

I'm obsessed with lip products -- particularly tinted balms and oils -- so I've tried a lot of different brands. This was my first Glossier product, and I love it! As others have mentioned, it's a buildable balm; one swipe leaves just a flush of color, but it deepens with each application. In that way, it reminds me of Clinique's Black Honey, which I love for the color, but not so much for the moisture. This product, however, really does leave lips soft and moisturized (not at all sticky), and it doesn't wear off quickly. Even more importantly, when it does fade, it doesn't dry out the lips. I highly recommend it!

I love the color and shine. It does wear off quickly but I don't mind because I enjoy the natural feel of it on my lips. I HATE the design of the lid—it isn't secure and falls off constantly. The lid will even come off when I have the lipstick in its own little zipper bag. The product has been damaged due to lid coming off. It frustrates me to the point of wanting to throw it away. Given the price point and how so many other companies have managed to design a secure lipstick lid, I'm pretty disappointed in the product.Three stars for a great feeling product and vibrant shade.Will not purchase again.

The coupe was too orange for my liking. I exchanged it for Fete and the color was so much better for me. It was a berry color that looks natural for my lips. I like how it first applies and it is hydrating. However, as time passed the color bled around the perimeter of my lips. I didn't use a lip liner, but that has never been an issue with other lipsticks before. I did find that I had to reapply constantly to get that even color, otherwise it looked patchy. Of course, it also transferred and disappeared when I ate. There's definitely better lipsticks on the market or tinted lip balms that's also more affordable.
Waited a looong time to try the ultralip and I'm glad I did! Before getting Ember, the only Glossier products I owned were two Generation G lipsticks (in Crush and Zip). They were pretty good, but I wasn't a big fan of how the colours looked when they faded on my lips to give that "stain" look. They also became very dry after the caps stopped fitting right. Ember was the perfect choice of ultralip for me. It gives a subtle enhanced look to my lip colour with one coat (purply/mauvy pink), and a nice dark colour with multiple coats (purply/mauvy dark red). I practically wore it every day - for work, at home, or going out. It suits earth tones, which I wear a lot of, as well as neutrals!
EXACTLY what I was looking for. Love this shine lipstick. I wanted essentially a red gloss, but in a stick form, that would also be deeper than a tint. This was perfect. Lipsticks are usually thick and dry, but this goes on with ease and has shine. Love love love it. Really wanted this for like a baseball game where I could slick on some more at my seat like lip balm without needed to be in front a mirror. I was looking for a Christmas red, and this seems close, maybe a smidge of pink, but I did not think it seemed as pink on my lips as it appears in that color swipe in the image. Can't wait to buy more colors.

Absolutely love this. It feels pretty similar to the new BDC formula to me, a bit of a thick smooth balm. It doesn't irritate my lips at all the way Clinique tinted balms do (looking at you, chubby sticks), feels more hydrating, and has better color payoff, so if you have super sensitive skin like me this is a safe bet. It gives such a pretty amount of tint, seems pretty buildable, and the color Cachet is the most beautiful neutral brown. It's warm enough to be flattering without looking weird and flat (like Ilia's brown balm). Definitely a beautiful product that takes no effort to apply or wear. Would love to see a berry color added to the line, because this formula stomps the Black Honey formula.
