I ordered mine as an extra. I read the negative reviews and I do question how those people took care of their batteries. I use mine weekly on commercial shoots and i have never had any issue with a any one of my batteries. They charge fine. Hold their charges and fire everytime. You should deff take proper care of these things. But i have never encountered any issues with my 4 batteries in almost 2 years

I purchased these when I bought my new AD600Pro kit. The batteries in the kit work great. These extras were dead on arrival. I thought it was rare that both batteries would be dead. I called and setup an exchange which took weeks. The new batteries arrived today and they are both dead on arrival. Im pretty sure B&H just sent me back my original batteries because one of the boxes had the same marks on it. How could 4 batteries all be defective?

We bought three of these batteries without thinking too much about it. All three went dead.We were about to purchase a fourth one as we needed one for a project BADLY but we read the numerous other reviews that spoke to a similar experience. This is not right. A quality company like B&H should not be selling a defective product. We are a small shop and this has already cost us way too much money and time.

The battery that came with my AD600Pro last for only 2 charging cycles before becoming non responsive to the charger. Now, it's dead. It's seems to be a VERY common problem with those batteries if you happen to let them become too empty or let them sit for more than a couple of weeks. Then, the charger doesn't to be able to charge an almost empty battery.Sadly mine is out of warranty but to be honest with a problem so frequent, B&H should bite the bullet and absorb the cost of providing 1 free battery replacement to customers even if our unit is out of warranty and then, with their buying power with Godox, they should negociate with Godox about reimbursing B&H for all those problematic batteries. One thing for sure, Godox really doesn't care about end users.
We have two of these batteries. We did not use them for a few months, and they fully discharged. The supplied charger would not charge them. Following some videos we found, we reset the batteries, and used a NocoGenius5 trickle charger that can recognize Li-ion batteries to bring the charge up enough for the Godox charger to work. So, our batteries work again, but honestly none of this should be necessary.
I didn't think much of the bad battery reviews for Godox flashes because I never had a problem with them. Then my AD600Pro battery decided to go from working perfectly fine with great life one day, to completely dead the next. I don't think I've every had a battery die that fast without any warning. It won't even try to charge now. Failed on a shoot. If you use these make sure you have a backup. I'll be getting the AC adapter instead.
As far as a function and form. Great! No complaints. I recommend having a spare battery if you own, or are considering the AD600Pro flash head(s).As a side note for the 4 stars and not 5: I would chalk it up to quality control. I ordered this along with a AD600Pro head as a backup battery. B&H first sent me a totally dead one. No power indicator lights lit up, plugged it in to the proper charger and left it there for an hour or so and still nothing. This was not ideal as I had a 10hr shoot coming up so I definitely knew I needed a spare battery. Luckily I let customer service know right away, popped the dead one in the mail, and just ordered another. Reviews of this battery vary a lot, however it seems to work well for me. I have two of them and found some good information on storing and using to help ensure the cells are not damaged. Used correctly, I anticipate long-term use and functionality. Sometimes I have 2 weeks or more between uses but have not had an issue with charging or using. I store them around half full and not on the flash. The storage area is around 65-70-degrees and dry. I do not leave them on the charger or charge while hot from use which also helps prevent damage to the cells. I can generally get one entire session at full power, 2 sessions if I use at lower powers. I would say 100-200 shots on average per charge, and I usually use at a high power due to the low available light in my studio.
Absolutely horrible. The batteries are great if they work but I have literally gone through 7 or 8 that are either completely dead on arrival or completely stop working within a day or two. I bought 3 AD600pros about 6 months ago and not once since then have I had 3 working batteries. For probably 5 of those 6 months I haven't even had 2 working batteries and for at least half of the time I have had 0 batteries that will hold any charge. It takes weeks to get them repaired by Godox and my last 2 repairs have both been dead on arrival which ends up being months of no working batteries. All B&H will do is say sorry and tell me to ship back the dead battery (half the time making me pay for return shipping). This is the Third Godox WB26 battery I have had to purchase after using twice. One failed to ever recharge and the second during a crucial time during a weeding ceremony. Honestly, this should be pulled from the shelves as Godox knows the batteries are faulty and don't work but continues to sell. I am saving pennies to buy a Pro Photo system as this is pure cheap junk. Do not rely on this battery to work.
