Golden Fluid Acrylic 473ml Permanent Green Light

This transfer paper makes my life sooo much easier when it comes to transferring my drawings to a prepared wood panel. As the box says, you really can use a sheet many times (I've used one 8x0" sheet three times so far, without losing the quality of the traced drawing. The lines are super crisp, and you don't have to press ridiculously hard.My only issue is with the white transfer paper on dark backgrounds - you do have to be super, super careful about not smudging it, and some white particles do scatter/adhere to the surface. If you're painting the background, not an issue! But I like to leave the wood exposed for some paintings, so I have to be very careful in this situation because I can't just paint over smudges. In this situation, the lines also erase fine, but removing eraser bits from the surface becomes tricky when you're trying not to smudge, and when you're using clear gesso (which is very gritty). If I were using white gesso I'm sure it would be easier. I'll try the graphite paper on dark surfaces next, with the hope that I can see the lines well enough on a dark surface, but also that smudges/bits of transfer pigment are not as easily seen.

This is a necessary 'dulling' color to make mixes look more realistic, so most Artists will use this in their mixes, if not alone as a boring brown. It is very effective color-wise at making realistic mixes. The problem I have with this specific color in the fluid acrylic form, is that the Golden company has either watered it down, OR has added too much hi flow medium to the product. It is nearly impossible to control the dispensing of this product because it does NOT come out at drop at a time, but a river of watery brown at one time. It gets all over the lid, cap, side of the lid and even onto the bottle each time you try to get out even a tiny amount. This is a color that might be more helpful to use in the tube heavy body form for your fluid mixes, as no one ... MoreThis is a necessary 'dulling' color to make mixes look more realistic, so most Artists will use this in their mixes, if not alone as a boring brown. This unique color red with a hint of orange behind it is great for mixing and surprisingly opaque for a fluid body! I've always used acrylics to paint with, but am new to the Golden Fluid Acrylic line. It's unbelievable how superior this line of paints are compared to every other acrylic I've ever used! They are more expensive than some other options, but if you do a side by side test, the results will tell you Golden fluid wins every time.#sweepstakes
