I bought these knowing full well that they're not vegan, despite my being vegan, because Vit D is essential for a vegan diet and I don't expose myself to the sun nearly enough to produce my own Vit D., and I can't seem to find a product that is vegan. I can taste the lanolin, and as a vegan, the taste is not pleasant at all. I have to swallow it very very quickly to avoid the taste. It's more of a necessary evil, and I'm sure I'll experience the benefits by not experiencing the symptoms of the lack of Vit D. So thank you to the sheep responsible for sharing.

Our family has taken these for a few years and all has been well. Unfortunately these have been reformulated with Stevia now being a part of the sweetening component. Sadly as that is a substance that several family members react to, we have had to go to a non chewable supplement. Same story with their time release magnesium. Not written on the bottle but upon calling the company, there it was. Very disappointing as they had no magnesium supplement without Stevia..

These Vit D3 tablets are much easier to dissolve than the other product I was using which was under the tongue but seemed to take a very long time. Anyway, nice and quick to dissolve in the mouth and pleasant tasting. Keeping D3 levels up is very important during the winter months in NZ to guard against upper respiratory infections and many many other things.
