I purchased two back in October on pre-order and patiently waited for them to arrive, I'm so glad I didn't give up, these panels are amazing. My cameras had gone down to 0% charge and after installing in just one day the solar panel brought it to 70%. They were super easy to install, I did it myself, put it south facing and they soak up the sun all day. Now my camera shows online continuously on the nest app. The cord is really long which gives more flexibility in placement, and it comes with little clips to tuck the excess cord away. Highly recommend!

Does great at keeping the power on the Cameras. Per the instructions its only going to keep the battery charge up to 70% in order to not damage the battery. Which is fine with me. Haven't had to charge the cameras at all since installing the solar panels. Both cameras are doing great now! Since our house doesnt have any ouside panels to power the cameras 24/7. Great buy!

Ok, been using this for months now so i can give my experience. Bought this item for my new Google nest cam for the back yard. 1st off, i live in Texas so there is PLENTY of sun. This item cannot sustain the next cam. I roughly get 3 to 4 days of power before it dies out and i had to turn off the sound to stretch it that far. To get sound the battery would die within 2 days. I know that use depends on activity but in comparison, my outdoor Ring camera running on its solar panel is STILL running. Wanted a better resolution camera, that's why we "upgraded". So either i upgrade to the next level solar panel or go back to Ring......decisions.

I have my nest camera mounted outside of my house. I didn't want to have to futz about with unplugging it and charging it on occasion — so far this solar panel has been a GREAT solution.We've endured some pretty severe storms in the past couple weeks, and it's holding up just fine.This is a great buy if you want to be able to "set and forget" your camera!
I can't say much, as we never even opened the box before we returned them. No fault at all on the device, it's just that we opted to go with the external AC cable instead. After some research, we found out that the outdoor camera needed fulltime AC power to get the 24/7 video history and solar is basically a trickle charge. If you don't need that level of coverage then I would think this is the way to go.

I grew tired of recharging my outdoor nest cameras every month or so. I purchased these on sale. The installation was very easy, and now we no longer need to manually recharge our outdoor cameras. The Panels are working well in September.I installed them with 20% battery life, and I'm up to 71% after 6 sunny days.They are facing east, getting morning light; sub optimal location but I'm net positive.Very easy to install. The cable is about 10 feet long - plenty long.The kit comes with cable routers or holders. The adhesives are poor. Best to find a cable tie with a nail. The stand offset could be a little longer too.5/5

I have noticed this device can marginally charge the device, it will not allow constant recording or streaming due to power limitations. I have seen the camera display its battery no where near 100% charged, rather in the 70s and dropping, so this cannot do true justice as an alternate power source.The rated 2.5W is not enough, your camera will eventually fall below 20% and require you to remove and plug in manually.
