A bit expensive, but a good selfie stick.

It’s a great selfie stick that splits into a tripod. I’ve definitely found it useful on my trip and I’m looking forward to using it again. Only thing I’d keep in mind is that I’m not sure if it’s rated for use in water. I’m quite certain it will not float so if you do take it in the ocean make sure you hold onto it.Just make sure when you twist it to adjust the length you don’t over torque it otherwise it can seize and you won’t be able to adjust it.

Horrible!!

One of the worst tri-pods I've ever used. Unfortunately, it would often unlatch from the poll and drop which would happen frequently when taking selfies and even worse during video recordings which ruins the video you are recording. I would expect something of far better quality from GoPro. Look elsewhere for your tri-pod.

Ideal for GoPro MAX except for handling noise

On the whole this is a fantastically useful addition to the GoPro MAX. You can use it as a simple hand-grip, or extend it about a meter to get the max up above your head or out in front of you. Because the mount is aligned with the axis of the pole and tripod feet it pretty much disappears into the stitch line. Even if you use it as a tripod, although it is visible in the image, it is not at all distracting. The pole extends easily and locks with a quarter turn, so it is very quick and efficient to operate. Unfortunately, the one big flaw is that the hard plastic conveys vibrations to the camera, so if you aren't careful you can get a lot of handling noise. Multi-Uses, easy to use, quality product!
27 January 2023

Multi-use function came in handy more then once! Like that the it easy converts to a tripod, light weight, easy to use. So why one star? Doesn’t come with a wrist loop which I required my kids to use. Took one off an old wii controller and it worked great!

Ok but not worth $60 bucks
31 July 2021

I brought this go pro stand because from the picture, it looks like it’s tall enough to sit on the floor and extend all the way up at least to face level. However, it’s more like a counter top stand. Definitly not worth $60 bucks. To say this is a go pro product, the quality is no different then the tripods I have purchased from Amazon which are way cheaper.

Piece of junk, Do Not Buy!
26 October 2020

Zero Stars. Total piece of junk. Used it two times. Broke on the third use. The piece that attaches the camera mount to the extendable wand snapped while sitting at my desk. I mean...serious piece of junk DO NOT BUY. The best part...is beyond my Time to return it. Seriously DO NOT BUY this item. It is cheaply made garbage...but you’d never know that based upon its $cost$. Even when the item wasn’T broken, it didn’t extend smoothly...was difficult to lock...and generally performed way, way, WAY under expectations. To summarize——total garbage, save your money. No ill will with BestBuy. Hope this review

Selfie stick not a tripod
13 June 2022

Basically an overprice selfie stick. Bought this thinking it was a tripod but it’s only a foot tall. Best Buy won’t return it either. Since I’ll be in Europe for 3 weeks and will be back after the return date window.

Solid and affordable stand
5 August 2022

Its a decent stand but didn’t meet my needs. Quality was good and i would have kept it but i was able to find a taller stand. Its a very secure stand so if you don’t have very specific needs requirements with height then this will work.

Versatile GoPro stick
29 May 2021

This is a must have tool if you have the GoPro max 360. It's length is optimized to get great quality imaging while hiding the stick with in the stitched zone. I'm not a big fan of the quality and build as there are other selfie sticks out there that are not only lighter but more durable. This however has the versatility of having a tri- pod and provided a robust grip and its full retracted. I would not use this stick for any water sports.

Works great gopro 5 and 9
22 February 2021

Used this a lot the first month. I have others and j now prefer this one. The wider grip fits my hand better then the skinny grips and keeps the camera upright better and not slanted. Tripod function works good. The only downfall is sticks a little on the twist to open or close it. I have not tried lubricant but that will prob fix it.I’ve used it in salt water with gopro underwater. I just rinse it off and had. I probs with it.
