GORILLA stands up to its name - I miss the gray - all i could find is black. GORILLA TAPE is a staple in my house as much as soap. Every time I look around, 'k, another job for the Gorilla!' I have literally gone to Home Depot specifically for Gorilla Tape - and often buy something else. I keep an eye on it so as to NEVER NOT HAVE GORILLA TAPE ON HAND. My last usage was an additional sense of security. I replaced a printer and the new one is 62lbs. The HDX wire shelving unit - I have at least 8 of them - shelf specs SECURELY support I think 350 lbs. This is the first time I used Gorilla tape & am very impressed. I had 2 projects to repair. My office chair had a small seam needing repair & a small piece of tape fixed that. Also, the lid of my outdoor garbage can needed repairing from where a squirrel ate a hole in the top of it. I was going to buy a new trash can but when I couldn't find one I liked, it was much, much cheaper to fix the lid w/ Gorilla tape & so glad I went that route! The only negative is that the tape requires a great deal of strength to pull it off the roll, but everything worked out OK.

'Gorilla Duct Tape' an 'Paper Receipt' missing

I'm curious about the roll of 'Gorilla Duct Tape' missing from my order this morning!!Interestingly, I also purchased the 'Pelonis Humidifier' in the order as well!!While looking for the paper receipt, (i.e.: if the Humidifier needed to be returned/exchanged for any reason) I do need my PAPER receipt since it was included in the same order! I researched the bags, and outside where his tire tracks were in the snow where he parked to deliver the items as well as where the order was left by the door!!it was nowhere to be found!! Hmmmm???'Luis' was the person who sent me the message that the delivery was made! I went immediately to the door and brought the bags inside!Could it be the roll of Duck Tape was in another bag with the Paper Receipt??? A handy problem solver for home jobs.

Great, strong, product. I use it for everyday jobs; for example, to repair a leak (small hole) on the water line for the hand sprayer under the kitchen sink. Its been 2 years and so far I haven't needed to change it. Use to hold large broken down boxes together so they fit neatly in the recycling can so more items can fit. Use to cover holes on plastic grocery bags so I can put my used scoopable cat litter in them for disposal. Use a small piece to remove cat hair and lint from clothes and furniture. When small branches fall from the trees in my backyard, I wrap a couple of pieces around the bunch for disposal pickup. You name it and it can be used. It's very very strong and I go through a roll very month. When you start using it, you'll find all types of uses. Buy ... MoreGreat, strong, product. Awesome Tape!!!

The most sticky tape I ever encountered. This tape material seems twice or more times thicker than typical electrical tape or duck tape and definitely has a lot more adhesion power. It really stuck to my fingers trying to unroll sections to use. The material seems too thick to just tear a section off; I used one of those sharp disposable blade knives that did the job nicely. For me, this was my first time using the Gorilla tape. Not cheap but worth the little extra cost for a good product. I would buy again, and recommend it.

Best duct tape I've found.

The first time I used Gorilla Tape, it was about 40 degrees outside and I used it to tape large plastic bins closed to stack in the back of a pickup truck. The tape is thick and when installing it cold, I didn't have much faith that it would hold. I threw a tarp over the bins that were stacked over cab height in the bed and taped the tarp shut as well as running several straps to secure everything. When I got the bins to their destination, 4 hours away and having gone through a lot of rain, I was very surprised at how well this stuff sticks. It actually broke a couple of the heavy bin tops while removing it. I learned to be more careful pretty quickly. If you want to secure or repair something, this is the right stuff.

Great tape that says in place

This tape works great for labeling difficult surfaces. I have storage bins in a storage facility, which can get quite hot. Every type of tape I’ve used to date seems to fall off the storage bins when the summer months hit. This tape stays in place and offers a nice writing surface with a sharpie pen. The white color helps with visibility of the writing on the tape. There is another brand at Lowe’s about two dollars less expensive however, the gorilla brand is strong and hence my choice. I would recommend this product to anybody looking for a strong cloth type rubber-based tape similar to duct tape.

IT DOES NOT STICK TO OUTSIDE BLINDS

I have an older outside blind and tried to reattach the plastic shade fabric to the lowed metal bar. I bought the white Gorilla tape because I thought it would be more attractive. It simply does not stick to either one. Just WORTHLESS for the job I was trying to do.I even gave up on the idea of making it look nice and tried a long piece of tape vertically on the shade wrapping it from the front and catching the metal bar on the bottom and up the backside like a sling and attaching it to the backside but that did not work either even the the shade cloth had tiny holes so the tape could actually attach to itself.

This is one of my favorite products from the Gorilla brand. I’ve used it for many applications and love that it comes in multiple widths. We have a cabin that gets heavy snow and are required to post a rental permit on our bear box. Gorilla Tape is the only product I’ve found that can withstand the winter weather! I’ve also used it to repair other things that come in contact with moisture. The adhesion and durability are fantastic. It’s a bit tough to get off the roll, but that’s because it’s so sticky.
