Greenies Dental Dog Regular

My two toy breed senior dogs absolutely love these! No lie, these actually help with bad breath. I was impressed and will continue to buy them now that I actually know that they work! I give them each one a day. I order mine on Amazon and am excited to try other flavors out as well! These are nice and soft yet it does take them a couple of minutes to destroy them. Honestly, the smell of them isn’t too bad, they smell a lot like blueberry so I think that’s pretty neat! Highly recommend!

I was sent a coupon to try these treats, but I probably wouldn't have bought them otherwise. The bag was priced at $10 Canadian dollars, which is more than I'd spend on dog treats. My dog enjoys them, and eats them quickly. I don't know how effective they are as a dental product, because her teeth are pretty clean to begin with. My dog is a medium sized Springer Spaniel, so I bought the regular sized treats. It does not keep her busy long but she has fun with it! I wish the package was resealable. I would probably buy these again if they were on sale, and gift them to family member's dogs.

Now for Boomer, his breath would make a baby cry. He’s always sleeping, so I joke and say he’s more like a cat. So it has to be like a permanent morning breath for him. He gently takes the Greenie from my hand and walks to his bed to eat it. A few min later he comes to me wagging his tail-so I take that as he liked it. I do the smell test on his breath…it still smells like trash can in the middle of a hot summer day. I suppose Greenies work as well as where your dogs breath starts out and then with continued use, it can get fresher and fresher. But, continued use is the problem for my buddy Boomer. You see, that evening and through the night, he kept on asking me to let him out to go outside because he had diarrhea. I kept the box of Greenies and would give one to Cleo whenever her breath needed it and Boomer wasn’t looking (he’s deaf, so it’s super easy to sneak around him LOL) But, another time since Boomer’s initial tasting, a family member gave him a Greenie (not knowing that he couldn’t eat them) and his poor stomach was just as upset. So Greenies are a win for Cleo’s breath, not so much for Boomer. I’m thinking his stomach is just sensitive to a particular ingredient. I haven’t experimented with anything else for his breath since, but I will eventually. If your dog does not have a sensitive stomach, I’d say give these a try. Maybe try a small box at first, not go crazy with a value size until you know how your dog likes them.

My doggy loves them. In my opinion they work pretty decently in making the smell of his breath less nauseating and stinky than it was before we started using the Greenie snacks. The price isn't the most ideal, but after using our vet did mention seeing the plaque and build up on his upper teeth had great improvement. They do occasionally have sales or buying in bulk does make it more affordable, their are also coupons for a couple dollars off. I often buy them at Walmart and I believe Costco. We don't give him one every day, usually one every other day. They are great for dog training and are very enjoyable. I can tell that he treasures each and every bite. He always asks for seconds, and sometimes succeeds in getting one from the kids. I wish they came in even ... MoreMy doggy loves them. She literally does these hilarious little loop-de-loops the second I ask her if she wants one, and I can always tell when I'm late giving them to her because she will come and find me to let me know at the same time each day. They keep her occupied for a few minutes, and have a gummy/chewy/bendy texture (not easily snapped). That being said, I don't know how much they're doing for her dental health. Her doggy breath hasn't improved or worsened while having these, and the vet even mentioned that there are better dental treats out there (unfortunately the one she recommended isn't even available anymore). Honestly I was very leary about purchasing these. I have read about some brands in the past that were horrible for dogs but after reading the reviews I decided to purchase a small bag and try it out. Both my pointer pups like the dog treats. I don't give them the treats every day but instead about every three or four days. There is already a difference in the amount of plaque on their teeth. I was actually so surprised to see the difference. Note: I also brush their teeth. So all in all these really do work and so far no problems with neither one of the pups.

Run, run, run to the store to get these for your pups! I have two mixed breed pups aged 5 and 4 and they LOVE these treats. My one pup who is a terrier mix is so picky about everything. Food, treats, you name it! If he doesn’t like it, he turns his little nose up at it and walks away. My other pup is a golden mix and is not picky at all. He eats whatever we put out for him. So for my super picky pup to really love these days a lot! And they are good for their teeth which is super beneficial! Would definitely recommend to others!

Like craft beer for dogs

These treats are like craft beer - an absolute treat for my pooch and far better than VB.One sniff and my dog was down, grinning with her big goofy grin from cheek to cheek. She politely took it from my outstretched hand, proceeded with a flurry of excited tail wags, and disappeared to her corner of the room. My surveillance drones recorded her lying down. the Greenies Original Large Dog Dental Treat grasped between her paws, gnawing away. It was quite humorous to see a green toothbrush shaped treat being chomped on. Needless to say she loved it, gulped it down and immediately looked for more. But if her enjoyment wasn't enough, the fact her breath smelt better, and her teeth looked cleaner was the icing on cake. Great product.

Need to have for your dog’s teeth

My dog loves these treats, and my wife and I were thankful to learn they come in a weight management version. The originals worked wonderfully, but we have been trying to be more mindful of our dog’s weight. We cut out a lot of treats, but desperately missed Greenies as discontinuing them had a very noticeable impact on our dog’s breath and plaque - even with brushing. The weight management version is excellent and hasn’t cause any excess weight gain PLUS her teeth and gums went back to their healthy and fresh-smelling state. Five stars, would absolutely recommend as a regular product. These are absolutely necessary if you don’t brush your dog’s teeth daily (though you should still make an effort).

I've always heard great things about Greenies Dental Treats but had never used them before this. My dogs took to these treats right away. I gave them a Greenies treat and they took it and started chewing it instantly. I was worried they would just play with it and not actually eat it because they've done that with other treats.
