I like that it was light weight and easy for my son to add to his costume but because there are so many connection pieces they are all week points and it bents and flops over easily and broke at one of the connections.

I like that it was light weight and easy for my son to add to his costume but because there are so many connection pieces they are all week points and it bents and flops over easily and broke at one of the connections.
Cheaply made item available in local supermarket for a 1.00. Item was described as deluxe so I expected a lot more for the close to 5.00 spent on it!
Visually very good -- however, not likely to last longer than the one use. Ours snapped in half before Halloween was over.
Great addition to costume had desired effect. Very cool.
The overall length of this scythe is about 5 feet, so I could hold it easily. It comes in segments that can be screwed together so it is possible to make it shorter if need be. However, it does bend quite a bit if you aren't holding it at the top at all times, and the blade managed to snap off after about 3 hours of use, however that was probably due to multiple people messing around with it. Apart from that, a great prop!
This scythe goes very well with the Child Emperor of Evil costume and adds that extra scare factor. The sections screw together, so the height can be adjusted.
I received my Scythe in a few days and it is very realistic. It comes in several pieces which is handy if you are travelling to a event like I am to fit in your case, thanks for a great product I am now complete as the Grim Reaper!!
