We got the pastel rainbow because the regular one was sold out, but it is fantastic! The wood is sturdy, grips well for stacking, and color is beautiful in its own way. The package was sealed and arrived quickly, and the rainbow itself was wrapped up tight to avoid any damage. My kids love playing it and even when it’s on the shelf it is like a nice piece of decoration. We will be purchasing more Grimm’s in the future!

This is a must-have for any Waldorf-inspired play space. My children intuitively knew what to do with it and how to create a little fairy village in the forest by stacking or lining up. Highly recommend. This colour option also appears to be rare, as I've only ever seen it at Bella Luna. Sturdy construction, too, although ours did arrive with a broken edge revealing the wood underneath. It's still worth keeping. Hard to find such handmade, unique toys today. I love Bella Luna.

This Rainbow is BEAUTIFUL! I originally wanted the standard color Grimm’s Rainbow, however it was sold out everywhere online. But now I am SO HAPPY that it was, because this one is even more gorgeous! The wood grain shows through slightly so it’s such a cool texture and pattern, but still very colorful. I just gave it to my daughter for her 2nd birthday this weekend and we already love it! There’s so many possibilities for play! I ordered it a few weeks before my daughter’s birthday, but was very worried it wouldn’t get here on time because of COVID-19 shutting everything down. I'd been on the fence about ordering this larger rainbow so I first ordered the medium size last year to make sure it would get played with before making the leap into this size. I'm glad to have both because they complement one another so well. I love open ended toys, especially when they look beautiful on our toy shelf, which this absolutely does! It's a wonderful textile experience for our one year old, and our three year old finds endless ways to play with them.
I bought this as a last minute birthday gift for my 3 year old (who really just wanted pancakes for her big day). I’d been looking into the Grimm’s rainbow for years but the price tag gave me pause. I came close to buying knock off versions a few times and am so glad I held off.This rainbow is sturdy, beautiful and arrived SO quickly. I can see it being one of the toys we’ll pass down to a loved one or save for grandkids. My 1, 3 and 4 year olds love it and any toy that they can play with together is a huge win!I definitely suggest getting the semi circles to go along with it.
We’re early in our Waldorf journey and this set seemed like a play space must-have. The colors are gorgeous (we bought both the green and the traditional rainbow sets) and we love the soft feel of the pieces. Our son has been so fond of all of the Grimm’s items we’ve purchased so far.
So well made. Our kid loves it. Makes tunnels, stack it in different ways, uses it as a house for her animals. Is also very fun to use it with the flat rainbow parts. We make so many things with it, I didn't even realized how versatile it is, very fun for ball-runs. Her friends love it too, and it looks awesome.
Exquisite wooden toy. Beautifully made and offers multiple play opportunities. The pastel colors are a nice contrast to the popular primary colors. I am a grandmother and have this toy for my grandchildren to play with when they visit. It is just as much fun for me as it is for them. It is also a lovely accent piece on my shelf when not being used. This is one of my "favorites."
My 12-month-old daughter likes pulling the arches apart or knocking down whatever I build and I’m sure she’s having fun, but I also have a lot of fun with this toy. The colors makes it so that whatever you build, it’s a little bit mesmerizing. Also, when I bought it, I figured I’d be able to make a few things and that’d be nice, but what I’m really happy about is how creative you can be with this toy. Every time my daughter and I play with it, we make something new. I know it’s pricey, but I have no regrets with this purchase.
got it for my 4 year old daughter for christmas. it was lovely. it is handmade (i believe?) so the pieces don't go back together perfectly- ie there is some imperfection- which is totally fine and actually a nice selling point. its just something to note, but not at all a flaw or anything. she plays with it for HOURS. it can be everything- building, tunnels, ramps for cars, houses for dolls, tracks, on and on and on. it was hard to sell my husband on the price tag because 'it's just a wooden rainbow... it doesn't do anything' but that is just the beauty of it. it is her favorite toy. i wish i would have gotten one earlier.
