Guatemala Coffee Beans 6x250g
Illy Monoarabica Guatemala coffee beans in a convenient can of 250 grams is the so-called premium quality mono-variety. There is nothing in it, except for Arabica, which has a special aroma. The origin of the product from Guatemala adds a special charm to it. The fruits growing on plantations in the mountainous tropics absorb a special aromatic composition. The fortress is 6 out of 9, which is enough for a charge of vigor that lasts from morning to lunch. The taste of the drink is rich, slightly tart, with pronounced chocolate notes and a woody undertone. It goes well with all cakes with chocolate, candies filled with liqueur or cognac, spicy cheeses and smoked meats. * Coffee grinding only with 100% prepayment.

I love a good coffee and I prefer them with a milder taste, so this one is perfect for me. Especially if you like making cappuccinos or lattes, you get all the great taste of coffee without the bitter part.I also love the box/packaging it comes in. I always struggle with keeping my coffee beans dry with other 'sachet' types of packaging, but this box is perfect for it. Will 100% purchase again.

This coffee is so good, I can't seem to pull a bad shot. With the coffee that I was using before (a blend of Arabica and Robusta, of a different brand), any little problem with my tamp or extraction, and I would get a sour or bitter shot. Not so with this coffee. Every shot has been smooth and flavorful. As a side benefit, this coffee also doesn't seem to suffer from the same problem with static electricity in the winter. Some coffee makes a hug mess and goes everywhere coming out of the grinder, at least in the dry air of a northern winter. But this Illy selection goes straight into the portafilter with very little loss. There are 2 downsides to this coffee, however. For one, it has a lower caffeine content than the Robusta beans, so it doesn't have the same zip. ... MoreThis coffee is so good, I can't seem to pull a bad shot. It’s quiet disappointing when receiving my 6 containers of coffee from Illy. Most of them to my surprise, they all expired in early 2023 (which I was assumed that the illy coffee bean was somehow more recently and freshly packaged to preserve it flavors). Despited the containers came in damaged, The Costa Rica in particular, was produced in July of 2020 and is expiring in a few month! I love illy and being with Illy for so long, but the quality control of the products is a big concern right now. I brought from illy is coz of its flavor, taste, it’s freshness and my memories. With this purchase, it probably will be my last purchase from Illy, because not sure if items on my next purchase is expired when I received.
I have been trying out several new coffees lately. I find myself often disappointed because the coffee will have a harsh, bitter or even a burnt flavor. I am always looking for a strong, bold coffee but not a bitter coffee. This Illy Guatemala coffee is amazing it has excellent flavor, aroma, not bitter and no burnt taste. I recommend this as well as the Illy Intenso Bold Roast, it too has great flavor, aroma, not bitter and no burnt taste. Both flavors are very smooth, I am very happy with my purchase! I buy the whole bean and grind my own every morning, I will be ordering more of both the Illy Guatemala and the Intenso Bold Roast Whole Bean Coffee
Illy has the best Arabaca coffee’s I’ve tried. Always smooth, non acidic and great tasting. Have tried in fancy fringe and brew DeLonghi coffee machine and Cuisinart drip after grinding the beans. Fantastic cup of coffee!
I have used this in a super automatic machine. First set the grinder to fine (for espresso) and taste was bitter and a little sour. The more I set the grinder to coarse the more sweetness I've got. So I would suggest to set the grinder to Coarse when using this coffee. It's smooth and tastes good.In comparison to Illy Guatemala, I've set the grinder for Guatemala to mid level (not too coarse and not too fine) and taste was smooth and good. Both of them are almost the same with a little different in taste. You may not notice any different if you have cappuccino or latte but I would say Guatemala is a little stronger in smell and flavor than Brasile.
This is my favorite flavor of the line. It is nicely balanced, not too acidic or bitter, and makes a delicious cup of coffee with our Jura machine that takes whole beans. My husband was a frequent traveler to Europe and he swears by this coffee flavor as one of the very best he's tasted. I am on the subscription plan so I never run out as this type is no longer carried in the high end gourmet shops in the mall.
Now you wanna cheat with slightly sweet rich treat but no massive calories...well step upnyo your coffee producer and brew this one!!Its a light but noticeable creamy rich spoil me coffee. This a great diet cheater all the rich taste heavenly aroma and no inching up ounces on that gruesome never lies bath scale..this just gives you all the ha ha to the scale and no worries of that evil but necessary health monitor chastising you with blinking up unwanted gains!
I wanted to try a different variation and in hindsight should have mixed 6 kinds instead of getting 6 of one. Colombia is too sour for my taste and kissing the chocolate notes and richness of the original. It's also too weak, reminds me a lot of the standard American coffees. I have yet to try these beans as espresso - but my experience tells me it will simply intensify the acidity. I drink my coffee black, nothing added.
