Haier HDC80E1 8kg Condenser Dryer
This white Haier condenser dryer HDC80E1 has the capacity to dry an 8kg load of laundry or one queen doona for your three to four-person household. A condenser dryer condenses the moisture from the fabrics into water so no outside venting duct is needed, which is great if you're renting and the dryer is positioned in a well-ventilated room. The Haier HDC80E1 has 16 drying programs to care for all fabric types - from everyday cottons and bed linens - to sports gear or jeans. It has an anti-crease option to minimise creases in shirts and trousers, and you can get the right dryness level to suit the load by selecting one of three options at the Dry Level button including 'Extra Dry' for wet towels. Choose from high, middle, low, or cool air temperature settings to ensure dedicated care for each type of load. This clothes dryer includes a drying rack. It has a 2 star energy rating. This condenser dryer is 845mm high, 595mm wide, and 648mm deep, so carefully measure the space where you want your dryer to go and make sure there's enough room for the door to open.

Our old dryer finally died and being Winter we needed another, this dryer is such a disappointment, I've found it's only drying clothes completely from straight out of the washing machine which will ultimately cost us a lot more in power as I used to just use the dryer to 'crisp up' the clothes off the clothes line outside. If you put clothes which are not quite dry in to do this it makes them even damper which is annoying. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing.

I have had this dryer for over a year now and it has been fantastic. I usually line dry first and use the 30 minute option to finish off the clothes, but on rainy days use the full dry cycle. Clothes come out dry but not 'cooked' like cheaper models which always reduced the lifespan of my clothes and sheets with past dryers I have owned. Collecting the water makes a huge difference to the humidity in the house, I never have to worry about mould and having the dryer indoors is much nicer on a cold wet winter day. I have nothing bad to say about this dryer, it was definately worth the money and having gone through two winters with it, I wouldn't want to be without it.

I loved the thought of this type of dryer since I brought it because we lived where it snowed and needed this type of machine to dry our clothes. Unfortunately, under a year old of having it, it has twice needed to be repaired. Each time the same issue with the motor. I have expressed my concern that I would expect a white ware appliance to last at least a good five years, ideally 10 without issues. There has only been myself and and one small child that it caters for.

This dryer has been an absolute nightmare. Bought in 2019 it has broken three times in the almost three years I've owned it, it is now making noises again that indicate it's broken for a fourth time. The first time it broke it was still under warrenty and was handled by Noel Leeming but the second and third it no longer was so was at my cost to get repaired. Absolute waste of money and time, do not recommend at all. I may have just gotten a lemon but at over a grand in cost I wouldn't risk buying one of these.
We had this for 3 months before finally giving in a taking it back. Tried every setting and just couldn’t get it to dry clothes properly. Took 3 cycles plus extra time to get clothes dry. Had a technician come out to check it and everything was within normal ranges apparently. Don’t buy this, just a terrible dryer.
Have tried several different dryer functions and all have worked well on items dried. The airing function is really good for finishing off washing line items. The rack for drying hats/shoes is a great addition. Would definitely recommend this. Haven't found any negatives.
I’m very happy with this dryer. I found it on Appliances online for a substantial discount, it arrived on the day I requested and it was easy to work, straight from the box. It collects the water and can be plumbed in so you never need to empty anything. It looks great. I love it.
Got this last week. First load the void in the door filled up with water which then leaks out the bottom. Noel leemings refusing to just replace it. Repair guy coning next week. I probablynshould habe bought a better one.....
This dryer does not work even in small loads like babies clothes. The dryer stops saying it done but clothes are still damp. The only setting that actually blows hot air is the 30 express cycle but 30min is not long enough to dry clothes. Also on the fist load of using it the inside of the door has accumulated water stuck inside the door.
exactly the same as SHARAs review Unfortunately, under a year old of having it, needed to be repaired 3 TIMES. Each time the same issue with the motor. very squeaky and heavy rattle. I have expressed my concern that I would expect a white ware appliance to last at least a good five years, ideally 10 without problems. There has only been myself and my partner that it caters for.
