I adore this little watering can. The shape is cute and classy and it's a good size for indoor plants, small containers, or seedlings. (If you need more volume, the larger version of this can is amazing.) The brass rose makes an lovely soft and even shower - good for seedlings or other tender plants.I also appreciate that it's made in the UK rather than China, and the Haws brand appears to be good stewards. Also, I'm over it with plastic watering cans because they break down in the sunshine. Metal lasts longer and ultimately is recyclable (but not for a long long time, because I will pamper this beauty for decades!).

I purchased this as I thought the rose would be delicate enough to water small seedlings. The quality of my rose is bad and it doesn't lightly and evenly distribute water. Some holes are bigger and water gushes, which defeats the purpose of buying a "quality" product.
In general I love Haws watering cans and I needed one for watering seeds and seedlings. Spending that much on a small watering can was a little eye-rolling but I'm pretty serious about my vegetable garden and It had to be fairly small and have a really delicate rose so the water didn't wash away the seeds or drown the tiny seedlings. The Rowley Ripple is the perfect size for this, the rose is removable if you want a full stream- and Haws cans are usually very well made. One tiny complaint though is that the brass rose leaks somewhat out of the bottom - seems the seal on the seam or the weld might not have been done properly. I did see that you can buy a replacement rose, so if it continues to bug me, perhaps I will splurge and get one. I bought this watering can as a birthday present. I found that there was a bewildering variety of products on the market, but the Haws instantly stood out. I loved the heritage of the brand and the craftsmanship of its construction. Its appearance is perfectly functional, and the use of copper gives it a luxurious elegance. It did not disappoint when it arrived. It has been in daily use, and lives between waterings as a prized item on a display shelf! Construction is beautifully neat- lovely metalworking and soldering. It's expensive but will last several lifetimes, and probably increase in value as it ages.
Superb quality as one would expect. This item is as much art as a perfectly designed piece of gardening equipment. My mom is a lifelong avid gardener who has never treated herself to what is widely touted as the best of the best in watering cans. I'm so grateful to have found this lovely company selling it at such a reasonable price. The shipping was fast considering how far it had to travel (Florida, USA)! The box was pretty beat up, but that was the box and it protected the can as designed. I had a wonderful experience purchasing from this company and when it's time to purchase the perfect special gift, I will certainly look here again. Thank you.
The watering can is the quality I expected from Haws (this is my fifth Haws watering can), but I ordered the copper one and it arrived with a lot of scratches in the finish. I’m hoping it patinas over time and the scratches are less noticeable.The Haws rosette is wonderful. Perfect for seedlings and orchids.
I love my new watering can! It's the perfect size for my houseplants and there's no spillage at all. I like the easily detached brass rose on the tip and when not in use it's a lovely decor item. I'm happy to support Goodee instead of the enormous online retailer (who shall not be named). I love it so much I would like it in a large size too. I'm thrilled to see that the two gallon Warley Fall also made by Haws is available for preorder which I'm doing right now.
