This is like an unpleasant kind of mayo. For us it’s unbearable to use in salads and sandwiches. I’m giving it two out of five because it’s ok to marinate meat in it before frying. We will finish the bottle but we will never rebuy it.

We use it as a salad dressing. Can be used for sandwiches. A different type of taste to mayonnaise. No artificial flavors or preservatives. The mustard powder gives it a nice flavor. Would choose it over the conventional dressings.
Being English, I consider this the only bona fide salad dressing! We use it on salads and also on bread, in place of mayonnaise, when making a sandwich. Just a trifle tangy, it is really good on a turkey, cheese and tomato sandwich or wrap. The squeeze bottle makes it easier to get just the right amount.

Used to prefer Heinz to others.HOWEVER, they’ve changed the formulation and now it’s soo vinegary, it’s like the own brands. They don’t mind charging you twice the price for it.
Heinz have 3 versions of their salad cream. Oddly the lowest fat version (70% less) is the one with the least carbs. This is because they thicken with xanthum and guar gum and replace some sugar with sweeteners. It's almost impossible to get though. It's never available and only this one, which isn't as low in carbs, or the full fat one with the highest carbs is ever available. Nobody seems to really buy this one. You'd think they'd get rid and keep the two popular ones.
