Does exactly what it is supposed to do and makes your guitar look great as well. Very small footprint once it is folded. The support "hooks" are adjustable in width so you can set the distance to match your guitar's body shape. Extremely stable in my opinion. And that Musicstore.de has the best price is also very nice.

This is a great little stand. Well built, good price, overall high quality. I would not hesitate to use this stand with my Fender Jazz and P-basses, and I plan to do so. The stand is not a perfect fit for the Jazz model due to the offset body shape of the Jazz, but the bass does fit fine with a slight off-center alignment. The input jack of the P-bass sits somewhat close to the holding arm of the stand. But none of these issues truly interferes with the stand's ability to hold the basses safely. I will be taking 1 or 2 of these compact little gadgets to me for every gig that I go to. And I'm leaving my older bulkier stand at home!If you play gigs that involve drunk audience members, clumsy sound techs or other hazards on stage, then I might not recommend this ... Does the job for symmetrical instruments, like a Precision bass or Stratocaster perfectly. Offset basses and guitars will have some issues. Jazz basses need to be shifted over to accommodate the asymmetrical shape. Forget about other shapes like an Explorer-Thunderbird style or some BC Rich instruments. When folded it fits in my gig bag (Gator Pro 2 bass gig bag) with absolutely no issues in spite of it's very robust thickness. No sharp corners to rip your bag or damage your case. Onstage it's incredibly sturdy and secure. The 3 swinging arms lock securely. I chose this over the very thin Fender mini folding stand and I made the correct decision after examining both. Leave the ubiquitous tube stands at home.
When I first saw these I knew I had to get a couple to put in my case or the back of my amp. Theyre the most stable stand at this size that Ive found. Theyre not quite as stable as the more traditional compact folding stands, but they fold up about 5 times smaller and so will fit in a gig bag. I bought the acoustic one first seeing if I could use it for both acoustic and electric, but unlike some bigger stands its no so stable if you put an electric on the acoustic stand, so I bought the electric version as well. This is the main reason I give it 4 not 5 stars. If they figured out an extra bracket on thing that could be folded up so worked well for both then Id give it 5 stars.
If this stand looks cheap in the photos to you, that could not be farther from the truth. I’ve paid the same amount for stands not even half the quality.I highly recommend this stand over all the others. I own a few of the Hercules single guitar stands made of plastic. They absolutely do the job, but this will fit just about any stringed instrument with even more support.
An excllent product that supports an electric guitar very well and yet is small and compact. You can fold it up if you don't use it for while, just like how it arrived folded up. Price is unbeatable for this type of quality product.
I purchased this item (and the GS401BB) for some friends who play in a very busy local band. They tend to go through guitar stands like wildfire due to very heavy usage. They have used these at seven gigs so far and they clearly surpass the quality and durability of anything they have used before, as well as being much more compact and portable. Another musician friend has one which has lasted ten years. Highly recommended.
This is my second Hercules guitar stand. I bought the first one for over fifteen years ago, it's been used at pub gigs and practices for five years and never a problem. I've had other stands, and none are as well made or as well designed as the Hercules. I still use the first one its as good as new. Now I have two.
Fits in a gig bag, weighs just over one pound, about a foot long (roughly 25cm), and extremely sturdy. I got 2 for a bargain and I am not regretting it. Sturdier than those A-frame stands and much more compact. Two of these stands take up less space than an A stand folded. The push nubs keep it open with high stiffness. You won't be worrying unless you have odd shaped guitars and basses (Flying Vs, most BC Rich guitars, asymmetrical instruments). I have a Fender P-Bass V and a Fernandes FRB 100, both five strings, which have traditional body styles. I've had mine for around 6 months and these have paid themselves back with great performance, peace of mind, and security. Get two or three if you find them cheap.
