Hermes Un Jardin Sur La Lagune Eau De Toilette Spray 100ml

I've shopped at Beauty Affairs for a few years now without a problem, however last week my package was stolen- at the fault of the courier. I purchased around $200+ of skincare and was completely devastated when it happened, as I didn't think I would be able to get it resent or refunded because it wasn't Beauty Affair’s fault. I contacted them and to my surprise, they immediately offered to resend or refund my purchase, not only that but they included a gift! I have never had such exceptional customer service from any other company in my whole life! I’m a mum of three with a small baby and a child with special needs who as anyone in NSW would know r home doing school.... shops aren’t open anyway and I have been in real need of a “glow up” Beauty Affairs helped me! How? First off, they have great customer service! They’re very friendly and get back to you straight away (given it is within working hours) the pack it and send it and I honestly receive it the next morning! This scent to my nose is a watery fresh floral, with a hint of citrus at the back. Officially, the notes are magnolia, pittosporum and madonna lily. There are moments where the fresh white floral notes are almost a little harsh to me from some likely indoles, like jasmine can be. At other moments though, this is so fresh and beautiful that I'm mentally transported to a beautiful garden next to a tranquil lake at twilight (basically, the Little Mermaid "Kiss the Girl" scene, or the Robin Hood "Love Goes On" scene). I also think the freshness of the floral makes this a great springtime perfume.. perfect for a morning brunch! Ngl when I first smelled this fragrace I was shooked by how awful it smelled on paper but I still wanted to try how it turns out with my skin body chemistry. At first it was a very sharp woody,grassy and earthy scent with a clear line of freshness and watery florals; turns out (in the dry down) to be a very acquatic/marine scent with a dominant aromatic earthy side. The woody accord is less sharp in the dry down and this makes the scent more pleasant and elegant. DEFINITELY NOT A BLIND BUY

I had read reviews for Hermes “Un jardin sur la lagune”, expecting an overly powdery scent mixed in with an array of florals. It smelled just like it’s name - a garden by the lagoon! I’m not usually a fan of floral scents, but I didn’t mind this one. I could definitely smell the lavender, which is a smell I’ve come to really like (I grow lavender in my garden). There was a little bit of a powdery smell, but it was more subtle than expected. And the best part about this scent? It lasted for around 10 hours.

Beautiful Summer Scent

This is a very beautiful scent that you could wear everyday. Like the other Jardin scents, it borders on unisex with a slight femininity to it. It’s much lighter than the others from the collection though so I felt that I needed more of it. My only complaint would be that it’s also not as unique and complex as the others in the Jardin Collection.This fragrance runs VERY similar to other summer beach scents (beach walk, soleil blanc, vanilla vibes, magic salty flower). The top notes are light white florals and it fades to a smoky white woods dry down (maybe cashmere or sandalwood as its kind of salty and slightly sweet at the same time).If you like white flowers or the trendy salty skin scent that’s in style right now you will definitely like this. Gorgeous scent

This is my go to daytime fragrance, I found it in a series of samples I was given as a gift. I love it and get many compliments. I just wish they made a travel size. Although the smaller is technically the right size, the delicate bottle and quantity (not needed for travel) is not practical

Great scent

I was hesitant to buy this fragrance from the jardin collection because of the negative reviews from fragrantica but I am glad that I went with my instinct. I love this fragrance, it smells clean, fresh floral, powdery, a little citrusy with faint aquatic hint and a little saltiness. This can easily pass as a unisex scent. I am a female and usually love girly scent such as jo malone peony & blush suede, marc jacobs eau so fresh to name a few. However, I love this scent, I have quite nothing like it in my collection. It is also a very versatile fragrance which you can use daily or as a signature scent. I can't wait to try the other one's from the jardin line.

One Of My Favorites In The Top 3 Of My Collection

This fragrance is absolutely a head turner. I receive so many compliments. It is not overpowering, but yet you definitely leave your mark in a room! It’s extremely fresh and clean. Definitely one of my absolute favorites. Great choice for all occasions. This fragrance has started many conversations, It’s a statement alone! Absolutely amazing! 5 stars!

Fragrances are a VERY personal thing. As mascara, fragrances are one of those things you cannot easily recommend. Depends on who you are, who you like to be and how you want to be perceived or where do you want to go. Too many variables to consider! That being said, I love a warm spicy fragrance that can be either femenine or masculine or both...or either. Elixir des Merveilles by Hermès is one of my all time faves, together with Orange Sanguine by Atelier. That being said, the only flowery fragrance I’ve enjoyed in the last time is Nomade by Chloé. Now, out of the Jardin collection, Méditerranée is my favorite.This one is very different and I am surprised I love it as much as I do. It opens very masculine. Unpredictable and sophisticated this fragrance stole my heart. I love it. Use it every day almost as much as I use Elixir. Love love love.Does it smells cheap? No idea what that mean.
