Un Jardin Sur La Lagune by Hermes Eau De Toilette Spray 30ml

I won’t repeat the claims of the smell by Hermes, or by the 2000+ reviewers, only to comment, that people forget that this entire range by Hermes is gender neutral, meaning in this case, hugely enjoyable by both sexes. I actually got my female partner on to probably my all time favourite - the that ends with de sur nil (apologies, I am terrible with names, I know there is a prefix), being the scent with the decent (and original) hint of green mango. Where that is pure Summer, this is for a smoky Fall, in my opinion. Just one Australian bloke’s opinion... Anyway, it is gorgeous and I love a spritz - even before bed. It did not disappoint. Couldn’t believe the speed of delivery either. Good job.

This scent to my nose is a watery fresh floral, with a hint of citrus at the back. Officially, the notes are magnolia, pittosporum and madonna lily. There are moments where the fresh white floral notes are almost a little harsh to me from some likely indoles, like jasmine can be. At other moments though, this is so fresh and beautiful that I'm mentally transported to a beautiful garden next to a tranquil lake at twilight (basically, the Little Mermaid "Kiss the Girl" scene, or the Robin Hood "Love Goes On" scene). I also think the freshness of the floral makes this a great springtime perfume.. perfect for a morning brunch! I had read reviews for Hermes “Un jardin sur la lagune”, expecting an overly powdery scent mixed in with an array of florals. It smelled just like it’s name - a garden by the lagoon! I’m not usually a fan of floral scents, but I didn’t mind this one. I could definitely smell the lavender, which is a smell I’ve come to really like (I grow lavender in my garden). There was a little bit of a powdery smell, but it was more subtle than expected. And the best part about this scent? It lasted for around 10 hours.

Beautiful Summer Scent

This is a very beautiful scent that you could wear everyday. Like the other Jardin scents, it borders on unisex with a slight femininity to it. It’s much lighter than the others from the collection though so I felt that I needed more of it. My only complaint would be that it’s also not as unique and complex as the others in the Jardin Collection.This fragrance runs VERY similar to other summer beach scents (beach walk, soleil blanc, vanilla vibes, magic salty flower). The top notes are light white florals and it fades to a smoky white woods dry down (maybe cashmere or sandalwood as its kind of salty and slightly sweet at the same time).If you like white flowers or the trendy salty skin scent that’s in style right now you will definitely like this. Great scent

I was hesitant to buy this fragrance from the jardin collection because of the negative reviews from fragrantica but I am glad that I went with my instinct. I love this fragrance, it smells clean, fresh floral, powdery, a little citrusy with faint aquatic hint and a little saltiness. This can easily pass as a unisex scent. I am a female and usually love girly scent such as jo malone peony & blush suede, marc jacobs eau so fresh to name a few. However, I love this scent, I have quite nothing like it in my collection. It is also a very versatile fragrance which you can use daily or as a signature scent. I can't wait to try the other one's from the jardin line.

One Of My Favorites In The Top 3 Of My Collection

This fragrance is absolutely a head turner. I receive so many compliments. It is not overpowering, but yet you definitely leave your mark in a room! It’s extremely fresh and clean. Definitely one of my absolute favorites. Great choice for all occasions. This fragrance has started many conversations, It’s a statement alone! Absolutely amazing! 5 stars!

Received used perfume shrink-wrapped as new

I received a fragrance that was opened, used, and then shrink-wrapped again.Upon removing the plastic shrink-wrap, I find the box has obvious signs of being used before - paper is torn at edges and is not crisp like a new box. The perfume was used before.It is misleading to label and sell this as a new item.

Smooth and subtle

This is a great scent, my second purchase of this fragrance. Normally, I have headaches with perfumes so I stay away from them. However, a soft and smooth scent yet commanding attention at the very same time. From now on, this will be my go-to scent which I’ll add to my very small collection.

Unpredictable and sophisticated this fragrance stole my heart. I love it. Use it every day almost as much as I use Elixir. Love love love.Does it smells cheap? No idea what that mean. Smells like only Hermès can.

Unique Salty Fragrance

A unique take on coastal fragrances, this is not your typical floral fresh fragrance. It's very salty and, I find, animalic. I'm not sure if this has ambergris in it but I detect something of that nature, maybe seaweed and/or driftwood. It may even have a bit of oud/agarwood.I detect very little in the way of florals, just enough to keep it fresh smelling and nothing like the previous Jardin releases. Performance is mediocre at best, something that doesn't seem to bother Hermes. I'm rating this a 4 out of 5 for uniqueness. While I usually don't take cost into account on fragrance ratings, I am deducting a star for performance/cost on this one.Not recommended as a blind buy.
