I bought two of these bottles(32oz. Pro chug steel, one for me and on for my lady. We are buying two more today(21oz Pro Chug steel). We both live very busy lives and somehow forget to drink water so we end up with headaches. Correction: we used to. These bottles and app have helped us stay plenty hidrate with the reminder lighting and goals. I especially love the gamification y’all did by earning trophies and keeping score and making it social, makes it more fun for nerds like me. Easy as that.As for our feature wishlist for the next gen bottles, here it is:The lost bottle feature is great but would be even better if somehow it could join Apple’s Find My network and Tile’s network.The battery life is great for how much water we constantly drink, but as with all electronics we always want it to hold an extra days worth charge, no matter how unrealistic lol.If there was a way you could make the water bottle not just flash its light when you can’t find it but also make a sound, that would be amazing. There is some good water resistant speaker tech out there and since the ‘hockey puck’ bottom part of bottle isn’t supposed to be get soaked that would be a great place to put it.Have a higher end option for the Pro Steel that has a UV sterilizing antibacterial light you can activate.It would be nice to not have to open the app so often to make sure it records your drinking every time.Maybe add additional sensors for more accurate measurements and to get more types of stats/metrics/health data.Improve your current accelerometer/gyro tech which is great already but fine tuning is necessary for even the best of the best.More features in the app like tighter integration with Apple Health and Apple Watch.Last but certainly not least is please improve the locking mechanism of the ‘Hockey Puck’. With just a little twist it can come out without knowing. Maybe have the same twist lock and then a thing you slide that secures it even further into the bottle.I know that’s a big wish list but I always brainstorm these things and post this kinda stuff for all types of tech I’m obsessed with.Get this bottle. It is awesome!

I like the fact that it flashes when you drink and you can track your daily progress via the app. I like that you can choose from different colors. I like that the bottle flashes a bit more insistently when you are behind on your daily goal. Her whole bottle (plastic) flashes. But for the steel one I bought only the base flashes. This is not nearly as high-visibility as its sister products. I would like to see some sort of enhancement to future products that enables higher visibility on the steel bottles. Maybe a flasher that attaches to the chug lid that somehow connects to the base (Bluetooth?) and acts as a sort of physical push notification on the bottle.All in all I’m satisfied with the product and I feel like it’s helping me up make healthier choices.

I will never go back to old-fashioned memory again! My drink bottle has a modern, customisable glow (although you need to pay for custom colours) and now I drink over 2.5 L every single day! The gamified features such as contests, achievements, and stats make drinking water FUN! The style is sleek and screams "Stay hydrated!" while not looking like a bodybuilding accessory. I have owned the bottle for 4 months and I'm already 100% headache-free, happy and using the toilet WAY more regularly- all without anything to do with diet!If you struggle with headaches, we all know that hydration helps but we all forget. I just feel that it's a lot of money to spend on a drink bottle, especially if you lose it, and I want this incredible invention to be accessible to absolutely anyone. The plastic ones didn’t last very long but I bought the metal one with the sensor on the bottom a while back and that one seems to be lasting and working fine.So I decided to buy another one. This one has the straw in it.First, the straw could be another half inch longer as it always leaves about an ounce of liquid at the bottom. No big deal, just unscrew the whole cap to finish it off.However, this bottle seems to be registering far more liquid consumed than actually happening, at times I KNOW, I was not drinking. Also, it registers more liquid consumed than it can contain.I find myself recalibrating this bottle a lot and adjusting the ounces consumed in the app history.I also hope developers will work on ... MoreI’ve had HidrateSpark bottles for few years. This is my second HidrateSpark water bottle, my first was the HidrateSpark 3 and now I have the HidrateSpark Steel. So far, I am having a sort of love-hate relationship with it. The most problematic thing is that the newer Hidrate Steel’s rechargeable bottom cap piece keeps pooping off on its own every time it’s set down or twisted in any kind of way(due to it not having a locking mechanism). And since that is the part that glows, charges, measures, etc., then losing it would make the bottle completely useless! Also, the little hanging holding strap is sewn on to the bottle, and very small to grip. And since it’s non-removable it keeps getting caught inside of the top of the cap; constantly stopping it from closing! Also, only the bottom lights up compared to the entire bottle of my Spark3, and it’s a feature I do kind of miss.The upside though is that since it does not have the bar in the inside like the old one, then you have more options to fill it with whatever you like. And the steel stays cold for quite a time, and also holds more water so that is nice!
I absolutely ♡love♡ everything about my HidrateSpark PRO Steel! The main reasons I upgraded from my Spark 2.0 to the PRO Steel last fall were the insulated stainless steel construction & the rechargeable sensor puck technology. The Steel simply feels more durable to me & that layer of insulation along with the option to add ice if I even choose to keeps my water much colder than my Spark 2.0 ever did, which I prefer. Naturally, my doctor's impressed with that, as well!I ordered my first HidrateSpark water bottle in the early Fall of 2016 because I wanted a bottle that would automatically sync my water intake with my Fitbit that I'd received as a Mother's Day gift. I've never looked at another brand of smart water bottle since. Yes, they're a bit expensive (it was a treat from my husband for my birthday) & it took what seemed like forever for it to finally arrive (just before Christmas). However, when I discovered the reason for the delay (as well as how great the bottle worked), Hidrate earned a loyal customer for life. You see, I'd ordered the original model (the only one they offered at the time as they were still a start-up company), but what I didn't know then was that Hidrate was apparently in the midst of upgrading to the Spark 2.0. When my bottle finally arrived, I discovered they'd automatically sent me the upgraded version. Now that's customer service!Although it's not insulated like my HidrateSpark PRO Steel that I bought for my husband & myself last year, that Spark 2.0 still works to this very day. We plan to give it to our daughter to try out as soon as she's old/mature enough for a device of her own to sync it to. Despite her seeing our good hydration habits for years now, she's terrible about drinking water (or anything else for that matter) & it's kind of scary. Never in my life have I consumed so much water (a reasonable amount honestly). I have ADHD and am always forgetting that my water bottle exists even when I keep it right next to me. This one lights up and gets my attention, and gives me all the good shiny feels. Very rewarding and motivating to see your progress. I do forget sometimes to set it down after refilling it, but it's not a huge deal. I've used the app to figure out about how much water I usually get in one drink and I can input the amount manually if I'm feeling like a perfectionist that day. The battery life is amazing, I get about two full weeks out of a single charge on average. I also purchased a second straw lid in a different color, which I only use for flavored drinks, because I tend to abandon water bottles once the straw starts to hold flavors, as this is a major sensory issue for me. I had a hydro flask and purchased a second straw lid, and even tried marking it to keep it different, but always lost track of which one was the flavored one, especially once the marking would wear off in the dishwasher, and then I was put off by the taste and confusion. I love the variety of options available. 10/10 great water bottle, recommend it to everybody :)

I tried bottles with timer marks on them, but the times didn't line up with my waking/sleeping hours which led to me having to constantly make time adjustments in my head. I'm a pre op bariatric patient and making sure I get enough water is something that I'm really working on doing so that I can be healthy post op. I also go to burning man yearly and making sure to stay well hydrated while spending 2 weeks in a dry desert lakebed is something that is incredibly important so you don't end up stuck in the med tent getting iv fluids.Enter Hidrate Spark pro. I love both the straw and chug lid options, and while I thought the fabric loop would make it hard to carry but it actually is surprisingly useful.The only negatives I have are pretty minor and not something that will keep me from using it or enjoying it. For starters, the rechargable battery only seems to last about 3-5 days for me, leading to times that I need to have it charging and therefore it isn't tracking. But you can add in water that isn't tracked manually if you know how much you drank. This issue is annoying enough though that I'm buying a second bottle so I can always have one battery fully charged and ready to switch out.It does occasionally miss measure a large amount of water if I'm refilling the bottle, but it's very obvious when it suddenly goes up 15 ounces, and easy enough to go through the list of water intake amounts and remove the accidental readings.And lastly, I had read some reviews saying the found the bottle tippy, due to the charging puck not having a completely flush flat base for the bottle. I have found it a bit tippy, but not a whole lot more than most tall/narrow bottles. Definitely not enough to make it a problem, but something that could be improved on in future designs. That said I have knocked it off a table once or twice onto hardwood floors and the bottle hasn't been damaged at all. No denying, scratches, and no breaking of the plastic lid parts, so that's great.I haven't had any problem with the changing puck unscrewing and falling off, which I had seen some people complain about. It seems super secure to me.

One that hides negative reviews from potential customers loses my business.This bottle may very well work good for you. It isn’t a bad product, it just needs a few upgrades. But please be sure to research someplace other than the company’s website to get a more accurate understanding of what other users are experiencing.

I read reviews and even called tech support at FitBit to learn to what extent it functioned with HidateSpark. After the second Halo I purchased failed to even pair with my phone, I returned it and saw the results of hardwarefailing the software.Google has just released the Pixel watch, and early reviews are baffled at the lack of FitBit features from the company that owns FitBit, and has been hyping it's Fitbit integration. I've owned three different Pixel phones and a whole array of Nest products and havelost confidence in Googles hardware efforts.I have a Samsung Galaxy Frontier S3 and a Samsung Galaxy Classic S4 and both watches have exceeded expectations. They allow and encourage 3rd party apps and so may be the most promising partner product for Hidrate to send out "time to drink" notifications.Hidrate's app is through and beautifully realized. Their customer service has instant response and is A+ rated.The sleek bottle not only alerts when to drink but senses how much was consumed and keeps track in the app, very accomplished. For me being able to successfully send alerts to a wearable is a 'last mile" kind of implementation I'm rooting for Hidrate to solve, and I'll be first in line when it is announced.
