Feels secure - however the chain is VERY heavy. It goes on the back of my bike and I take it everywhere - however it must be approx. 5kg or more. Easy to use - I may upgrade the U lock to a disk proof version. Feels very solid and secure.

Feels secure - however the chain is VERY heavy. It goes on the back of my bike and I take it everywhere - however it must be approx. 5kg or more. Easy to use - I may upgrade the U lock to a disk proof version. Feels very solid and secure.
The lock is advertised as "The ultimate e bike lock" well it isn't. The lock alone isn't any better than any of the kryptonite locks, and in combination with the 14mm chain make it the heaviest lock in the market to carry around. The lock alone is also small for an ebike.Why is this been advertised like the ultimate e bike lock. I bought it thinking that was the D1000 surprisingly recived a lock that is just will not endure angle grinder attacks. For say the least is misleading ad.
No question very secure but. Very heavy at 5kg - hadn’t realised how heavy. Too much for me.
I haven't had a chance to use this lock yet, but it feels fairly high quality and is capable to protecting my bike, but there's a con to this... it's really heavy, I'm debating on whether or not using it as a deadweight since I have a feeling I'm gonna have a hard time trying to lift the chain.....
Haven't used yet, but the quality of the u lock and chain are top notch.
I really like this security set as both products are diamond rated for bikes. The chain is really helpful on my e-bike because the frame is too big to get the d-lock around much except wheel and fork.I also got one of Hiplok''s ground anchors (ANKR), to secure my bike in the garage and the chain is compatible with it.
D Link fine, chain is a little heavy but would probably hold a tank.
Very sturdy, heavy. WouldLive it if the links on end were fraction thinner to be able to link with other Hiplok products.
