Hoya Pro ND EX 8 Camera Lens Filter 67 mm

The Hoya ND 8 reduces light by an equivalent of 3 stops. Neutral density filters (ND filters) are among the most sought-after and important types of photographic filters for several reasons. For photographers, ND filters provide precise control over the amount of light that enters the lens, allowing for greater creative control over exposure. For content creators, ND filters are very helpful in setting shutter speeds to match frame rates while maintaining the depth of field of the footage. Hoya offers a unique and extensive range of ND filters specifically designed for both photographers and filmmakers, embedded in the PROND series. PROND filters utilize Hoya's clear optical glass, which is mounted in a lightweight, precisely crafted aluminum frame. The frame features a front filter thread, allowing you to attach additional filters or a lens cap. Thanks to the leading ACCU-ND technology, images do not suffer from negative effects due to color shifts that can occur from inferior materials, poor quality control during manufacturing, or issues with the infrared range of the light spectrum. This last issue is currently the most significant concern in photography and videography. With Hoya's exclusive ACCU-ND technology, a uniform reduction of light in the visible and IR spectrum is achieved. As a result, photographers need not worry about color shifts when using Hoya ND filters under various shooting conditions.
