This really is a very mediocre laptop for the price. The touchpad is way too big, the keyboard layout is weird, and the touchscreen is a completely unnecessary nuisance.Windows 11 is a significant downgrade from Windows 10 in terms of functionality. What took one or two steps before now takes three or four.Avoid this laptop if you don't want to overpay for something that should cost a few hundred dollars.

I bought this laptop a few months ago after my Macbook finally died on me. I have never ever been so impressed with a laptop. The look of it is so sleek, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. I got the silver colour and am absolutely obsessed. The screen resolution is impeccable. I love that it comes with a stylus, I use it all the time and there are some really great note-taking apps that I use for school that put iPads to shame. The brightness is perfect for working outdoors on a sunny day. The keyboard is one of the best I've ever used. The laptop itself is super durable to being banged and bumped off of things like walls and countertops, its yet to dent or scratch and I'm pretty rough with my devices - my Macbook by this time would have a dent in every corner. The laptop is extremely fast as well, and the programming within it is very detail-oriented. It never overheats, I love the location of the fan and how quiet it is- my Macbook could never, and how the speakers are on the back for watching videos and movies in the tablet function. Last but not least my favourite function is how easy it is to clean it!! It still looks brand new, as its easy to dust and the open hinge between the screen and keyboard makes that section dust-proof, which I always find to be the most annoying part of a laptop to clean. HP really paid attention to ALL the details with this laptop. Superb quality, I love it more every day I use it. This is a laptop that anyone and everyone will LOVE!!

I am delighted with my new HP Envy and the service I got at the Fairview, QC Best Buy. I walked in with a broken laptop (do NOT drop a miniscule metal clip on your mother board while repairing the fan) and a rush job I needed to finish. Super competent staff took the time to find out what my operational requirements were and offered two or three options in different price ranges. The HP is a perfect match - a great performer, not bulky, and I even sized up to a slightly bigger screen this time. I particularly like the keyboard touch, which is responsive and quiet with plenty of room to rest your hands on either side of the mouse pad. Pros: Looks and feels great. Very good batter life - generally will last a full day of office work. Quick start up and flow between programmes.Cons: When in tablet mode, the keyboard underneath remains active when pressed. Can be fiddly to open from the closed position.
Pros: Great laptop and a big upgrade to have I previously had. I love the touch light keyboard and the touchscreen display is great also. Lovely colour and design. I would recommend this Laptop.Cons: Nothing at the moment. Everything is great.
Pros: Small and light. Its 2 in 1 nature is useful, and the SSD makes the computer very snappy. Good for productivity and video streamingCons: Battery life is mediocre and there are problems connecting Bluetooth headphones. There are also problems with personalisation. It turns off my customised mouse pointers randomly, and slideshow backgrounds are also an issue.
Bought this to replace a 6-year old similar machine that died. That one withstood an entire cup of tea on the keyboard a year ago, and was much abused. The case quality on the Envy is much better than the cheaper HP models, and so far (a week) I am very pleased. Good sound, good screen, good keyboard.
It’s a great laptop, great size and easy to use but unfortunately mine had a faulty touchpad and it just never worked from the beginning. At first I thought the function was turned off but after many attempts of trying to fix it and contacting HP support, it’s actually broken. Before contacting HP support, I tried googling how to fix it and saw that this is a common occurance with HP laptops! I have owned this laptop for only 2 days!! HP offered to have the laptop fixed for me, which is a huge inconvenience as that can take up to 8 working days, or I can return it to store for a new laptop or store credit, which is what I’ve decided to do. I think I’ll choose a different brand.
I've had this laptop for a bit over 24 hours and I've had to force restart it twice already because the track padrandomly becomes completely unresponsive. Did I get a faulty product? Either way, Im glad this is happening so quickly so I don't get my hopes up about keeping this laptop.
FIrst of all, when i got this laptop i got a glitch where the screen wasnt working, I had to wait 10 minutes for it to work again. This laptop also randomly becomes very laggy. One day I opened up this laptop and started playing some games. I noticed that the framerate had halved or what it used to be. It made games almost unplayable, to the point that I was getting 4-5 fps. This has happened to me TWICE after only having the laptop for 5 months. This laptop is definitely not worth it for the price.
