Didn’t change the screen to show any signs of impurities in air the whole week we had it. We had obvious pollutants yet the machine didn’t pick any of it up. You have to have wifi and connect through app which we didn’t do and were relying on the devices screen. We decided to return it and order a different brand online instead, and it is 100% better for a fraction of the cost. Dyson was just an expensive air blower.

Was slightly dubious about buying this due to mixed reviews, and one of the main purposes was to cool the room in this humid weather. Decided to go for it on the basis I can always return if the ‘cool’ function wasn’t as good, as mentioned in some reviews. I needn’t have worried, it arrived today, took minutes to set up (including downloading the app) and is brilliant. Whilst this isn’t an air con unit, it does cool the room more than adequately. The different functions are fantastic showing you readings on both the app and the tower of air quality etc. This is currently in the lounge but can be moved easily as it’s light so will be used upstairs at night. Terrible product. It's an art piece at best. Fragile and not fit for purpose. I bought two of these in two different colours. If you have children, then it's definitely going to break. Does a pathetic job of cleaning the air as opposed to my samsung ax90 air purifier. Dyson needs to stick to making vacuums only as I have their v15 stick vacuum, which is an excellent machine but overpriced, as with all dyson products. If you're pompous and self-centred, then this machine is perfect for you. JB HiFi were excellent at accepting my return of these two dyson machines. Their customer service and after sale service has always been excellent.

Its amazing how my regular sneezing attacks disappeared almost immediately after turning this on in my bedroom. I leave it on Auto setting and its virtually noiseless, but if you want to use this as a room fan you do need to turn it up a little to get a noticeable breeze. The app is great to check the readings in your room and surroundings.If you are buying this purely as a fan you might be disappointed, but when combined with the purification and air quality measurements available in the app, it is a great purchase. Looks good too!
I wanted an Alexa enabled purifier. I got what I wanted. The design blends in well into a room. I'm giving it a 5 star. HOWEVER, I cannot comment on its efficacy. I realise I have no objective way to do this. I can not tell you if I feel any different by using it. I CAN tell you that I leave it in Auto mode. It detects something is in the air when the cooking starts and it turns itself on ... so it must work :)
The fan picks up impurities straight away BUT it does not cool the room. We still rely on our old trusty fan to cool us down then put the purifier on which to me is a total waste of money and it was a very expensive mistake. I do not recommend you buy this if your thinking it can purify and cool a room. Too expensive I'm embarrassed that I bought it as a special 40th birthday present for my special friend because he glares at me when I suggest "shall I put on the fan". It's crap
Purifier works well, you can feel the difference in the air and I have noticed our bedroom is less dusty. Although I do have to say I was shocked at how loud it is compared to a pedestal fan (what we originally had in our bedroom). Another thing is it doesnt blow as much air as a pedestal fan but we still find it enough for our bedroom. I wouldnt say this is a cooling fan though. Its just a fan. Has no aircon like feature to make the room cooler. Would I recommend - honestly Im not sure. For the price I do wonder if its actually worth it.

The airflow is very fresh and a lot quiet. I use it with the timer on for 2 to 4 hours when I go to bed. Most of the time I use speed 1 which is so quite with a very soft breeze to keep my bedroom fresh. Some days when it is hot, I need to turn to speed 4 which I can start hear a low noise but not so disturbing. I have my dog sleeping in my bedroom and so this pure cool fan really work so effective that freshening airflow for the room. I am very happy with this product even though it is quite expensive. But I think it is worth to compromise with the price as it really gives me fresh air and remove pet's ...
