It is bladeless which is safe for any children at house.It is true from some reviews that the higher the number, the louder it will be. Still acceptable the noise level.Only that the fan "cooling" could be felt the wind if I press higher number together with a lower temperature of aircon for a large number coming to our house.All in all, I choose Dyson because of it's brand & quality. More improvements to go! Thank you:)

But i was wrong.Whats worse is that the filter i bought os not for the the model of fan. No one from the comlany informed.The return process IS a nightmare. 6 different days was arranged. More than 10 emails and the matter is still not resolved. No ownership.

Bought the dyson fan after our air con stopped working during summer. It works great! Fan has 10 speeds and even has a remote control and handy timer (lights go out after setting timer works well for night sleeping). I am yet to check the filter out after 1 week of almost continual use (had days of over 30 degrees with no air con) but I could not have asked for better. I was sceptical about the price but now after its performance wouldn't blink an eyelid.
I was optimistic that this fan would live up to the organization's reputation. While it is very handsome to look at & very quiet when operating , if you stand more than a meter away from it , you cannot feel the breeze it creates. It is very weak, even on the highest setting. At night, despite the fact that it was positioned at the very end of the bed, it was still hard to feel the cool air. I am disappointed with this product & I will be returning it. I was genuinely hoping to love it & benefit from some great technology but sadly not on this occasion.
Have a 5 m x 5 m room and the Dyson is perfect for this size. We previously used a stand blade fan, but the Dyson is by far more effective. Slim line and easy to keep clean. The oscillation range is good and I like that you can adjust for individual use. Super quiet when used in low to mid range and not too obtrusive on high. Well worth the price.
Loved the minimalist and unobtrusive look of this fan. Goes better with decor than many. Also great that it has no moving parts so little fingers don’t need to be micromanaged. Love that it has a remote (magnetically clips to top of unit to store) - excellent for the bedroom so as it cools down overnight you can stop it without getting up. Honestly it was a little louder than I expected but it does move a heap of air - much quieter on low setting (unsurprising) but at last no squeaking like our old fan. Love it, highly recommend. Wish I’d bought two.
Quite like this fan. I would have bought one of the tall round ones but they don't seem to have them anymore. It would have been better for reaching over beds and couches, but this one has worked out okay. It is slightly slow to respond to the remote, so I have found myself trying to turn it off and thinking I haven't hit the button properly because it hasn't turned off straight away, so then hitting the off again, which makes it turn off an on again. So once I get used to it, it will be fine.
Misleading advertising. High speed not high enough. Not cooling just moving hot air around. Not the right hight for a Bedroom. Glorified fan you could get the same $600 fan from Kmart for $40. Very disappointing product from Dyson ( also I had to choose one star but would rate it a zero on all accounts
