This is a good product but it is for small spaces...much smaller than dyson suggests. Set up is easy. Not tried heating yet as its not winter. Im hoping the purifier is working its hard to tell. It does make a noise in oscillating mode at lowest speed which is annoying and I will need to get that checked. These are very expensive so definitely wait til they are on sale.

Was a great price but wouldn’t connect to my dual band wifi router. This has old technology that needs a dedicated 2.4 GHz wifi connection. It took me a couple of hours of grief and confirmation from Dyson support to find this out. I have a couple of older devices (printer, amplifier) connect but not this little white and silver duck! Unbelievable and not recommended unless you are happy to run it in “dumb” mode and use just the remote control!

I purchased this about three months ago and found it quite satisfactory as a fan. Very quiet and moved a sufficient quantity of air to cool the room in up to 32 dog temperature.However the first cool days of winter have arrived and it is next to useless. Last night 6 dog outside it raised the room temperature 1.5 deg in 4 hours. At the moment 12 deg outsideI have it sitting 1.5 m away from me with the temperature set as high as it will go.37deg. I can barely feel any warmth. A good fan a completely useless heater. Hence 3 star rating , would be 4 stars for fan 0 stars for heater.
I bought this a month ago and I have mad regrets. Mainly due to the noise it creates.Poorly worded name. It definitely doesn't cool. A cheap normal fan does a better job.The heating on it is great in the bedrooms. Gets full room coverage. Again issue is the noise. Had it set to 1 while it was at temp, it was nice and quite. When it needs to get the temp up, it sounds like a jetplane taking off. Not great while trying to sleep and trying to keep a newborn asleep.The app and features are cool. The filter etc is cool too.Am planning on returning this.
Great product. Very quiet, yet impactful and easy to use. I downloaded the app too so I can see the air quality reading and register for the warranty. Item arrived v quickly. Ordered it Wednesday night and received it on Friday, first day of eBay's estimated delivery dates.
Only used heat function thus far but not overly impressed. Was hoping it would warm my whole study whilst I work from home but it only creates a warm breeze directly on me, whilst on and as soon as I turn it off, the room is instantly cold again. From other reviews, seems cool option is similar, being more a fan than an actual AC.This month’s electricity bill is also higher but that could also just be a result of new FY price hikes :((
Super fast delivery. The Dyson looks great and works a treat. The fan is quiet and heats up quickly to desired temperature setting. Still more to play with like installing the app. Instructions are easy to follow but hit the remote and on it comes.
The best gift to yourself!! My husband and I have always wanted a fan/heater. Winter to Spring season in Australia, especially in Sydney is looooong! Even if it’s already spring, the nights are still cold. We’ve only got our Dyson for about a month and we couldn’t be happier! It’s definitely not so loud and can reach air to our whole room! Best investment as a married couple!

The heating feature is not as powerful as the ceramic heater I had either.The height and the short cord makes it very difficult to put it into use, I have to put it on a table next to my bed at night to feel the benefit of the drizzle cool air. Have to be careful when using it in the Heating mode because the hot air may directly damage your power socket (the cord is very short). More power means more noise.It can only be used, especially on heating mode, in a very small room, otherwise it is extremely inefficient. Bad idea.Then the Dyson App never connected to the Device itself. I contacted Dyson Support, numerous emails, phone conversation (very unpleasant woman who treated me as an idiot, I nearly expected her to ask "did you plug it in ?". Not funny) numerous more email, half of the time was the reply of "sorry we are not available". Passing through different staff each time, who got no idea what is going on. I had to photo graph the device, the screen shot, what it says etc...sent to them. Then they dropped me out cold or like a Hot Potato, nothing since. After making me jumped through hoops many, many times.I keep it because I am not bother with the packing and returning. And I hope the air pufifyer feature does work (no App to see the result, only goes by looking at the A turn from white to green on the machine, in my case, it did that after 5 minutes. I hope it does mean the air in my bedroom is really clean). Given their technical support attitude, I reckon I will go through a lot of hassle getting a replacement/refund through them.The fist and the last Dyson.
