Hugo Boss - Hugo Now 75ml

I received this sample in my voxbox and I was excited to share it with my husband! We both took some time to smell the fragrance and gather our opinions. My husband is pretty simple and only had a few things to say about it: “It smells good, but it’s not something I’d wear everyday. It smells pretty fancy, so I’d only wear it on special occasions.” I had a bit more of an opinion on the scent since I’m usually the one that picks purchases his cologne. In its own way it smelt fresh, just not in a way that particularly like. For comparison, my husband I love the Giorgio Armani Aqua DI Gio Pour Homme that’s something he wears on every occasion almost every day. This Hugo fragrance is not something I can see my husband reaching for too often, however, it might be a great gift for my dad next holiday.

Sure I can smell the Granny Smith apples, the marine like hints, and the masculine shower gel. Unfortunately that’s about it, despite the lavender trying. This is a weak choice, as there’s no projection or sillage. In many ways it reminds me of Polo Black, in which the bottle is a tuxedo, but underneath it’s a off color leisure suit. Buyer Beware! This is knock off Hugo Boss Cologne.

Buyer Beware! This is knock off Hugo Boss cologne. It has a hint of scent that is kind of like Hugo Boss, but it isn’t. Whatever formula that is in this bottle once sprayed has no longevity once so ever. You can't even smell it from a person away. I gifted to this my husband who has been wearing Hugo Boss the 22 years we've been together- trust me, this stuff is fake. Now I have to go buy the real stuff that I thought I was getting here. I also can't return this because my husband threw out the box on Christmas. Maybe Walmart will issue me a refund for illegal knock off product.

Hugo Boss Hugo Man Eau De Toilette 40ml Spray

Bought this as a gift for my son as he loves all Hugo Boss fragrances and hasnt had this one. The toilet bag is absolutely lovely, and the bottle inside is 100 ml, together with a travel spray of the same fragrance. Im certain my son will love it. I was so impressed with the sale price of this Its also in a really nice gift box. Overall, a true bargain and its a lovely gift. Im certain it wouldve cost a lot more elsewhere Really pleased with my purchase

Hugo is the Boss!

You cannot go wrong with this one! Hugo is the benchmark of the Hugo Boss line of men's fragrances. It's a fresh clean scent that projects moderately and never overbearing. Lightly citrus with base notes of spice. The Boss line fluctuates greatly! In other words,no two are even close to being similar! So it's best to test in person rather than "blind" buy. But IMO this one is a hit!

Smells like Hugo. The same slightly synthetic, slightly headache-inducing underlying smell. But nice. It does last a long time over four hours. Could even smell it next morning. Have tried layering it with Acqua di Palma Colonia, Acqua di Palma Sandalo and Dior Sauvage Eau de Parfum. Together! Smells great!

Not purchasing this again

The weird thing about these new Hugo boss colognes are that they don't come with the plastic wrapping around them anymore. The first time I purchased them I was super confused when I received it without the wrapper. But then I realised they are all like that for some reason. It doesn't really feel right, since it can be opened and tested.The tones are more bitter than I remembered and the scent doesn't last that long, so I don't think I will be purchasing this particular cologne again.I had this delivered which came in the box and was very well protected, so super happy about the delivery conditions.

Tester

Its was boss aftershave and selling for a good price. My lad would rather wear a bad smelling designer label than a cheap nice smelling scent. So I bought him a designer gift. Whilst I was awaiting delivery I had popped into boots and sought out the bottle. I also managed to blag a vial. Very nice indeed, he doesn't know he's getting it, so he might not. My Mrs asked what I had got on, I told her, tester. I find boss original a strong statement smell. Just Different, is like the original, just lighter and sweeter. Original is serious, Just Different, is not there to compete it smells good and draws compliments. My lad even likes it. Hope Santa has got my letter and not stuck in the strike backlog. I will just have to ration the vial.

First of all. This is wonderful value for a 200ml bottle of aftershave, and it should last a long time. Secondly this is the first Hugo Boss aftershave I've owned in about 15 years. So, I was intrigued to see what it was like.The first thing I noticed when I sprayed this was the fresh minty vibe from the juice. I actually bought this blind and I didn’t check out the notes for this but I wasn’t surprised to find out that indeed mint is included, after that burst of fresh mint you pick up the original Hugo Boss scent but with a crisp apple scent that reminds me of DKNY Apple for me anyway. It has that sort scent on the dry down.The projection and longevity of this aftershave isn’t the best. Like a lot of modern scents, it sits well on your clothes but for me, this ... MoreFirst of all.
