Needed 7 of these for my groomsmen. I called on the phone about stock, and they were packed up and brought to Canada Post about 30 minutes later. They went out of their way to make my experience top notch. Looking forward to my next order from AXEMAN. Hatchets arrived in perfect condition, and looked awesome. Can't wait to get out camping to see one in action.

Great product ,so far edge holds up use it to clear deadfall, on camping and for bushcraft edge still doesn’t even look like it’s been used oiled the handle before use and I’m expecting years of use from this to come great quality product for a fair price

Tested this a few times out in the woods. Perfect multi-use hatchet for wood processing/small building projects. Very well balanced and made of solid materials. I'd recommend getting the leather sheath for an extra $20 if you are planning on carrying it on your belt.

There are certain tools you'll come to value as part of their own category - this is one of those. Came razer sharp and ready to use. The wood handle is comfortable, and the wood itself is an especially beautiful cut of hickory.I'd recommend a small amount of grease or wax to protect the blade from any oxidation as the finish will wear from use out of season, though I'm using this as a carpentry axe and for architectural models.
I put the hatchet to use immediately on a canoe-camping trip and it was evident that I made a great purchase.Came with a suede axe blade protector but I would recommend getting the leather since its gonna last longer and won’t be waterclogged like the suede if It rains.Fast delivery and good price for a honest hatchet.
Now this is the best hatchet I’ve put in my hands. The 15” is a perfect size and the curve of the hickory handle makes it feel like a feather. I would recommend this AGDOR Hultafors to anyone looking for a quality hatchet for a decent price. The reason it didn’t get a full five starts from me is a few minor details (I understand it’s a forest tool and will get beat up, but off the “shelf” it has some flaws).The handle came with a few marks over it, a couple red streaks, black blotches. And the axe head itself barely has a print on it. But in a few years it’ll have a patina like no other, so none of that matters. All in all, get this axe!
Hatchet is awesome!! Bought the hatchet for Christmas for my brother. He is a carpenter who’s got a load of knives so I thought he’d appreciate something different. He loved It! I was very happy with the quality of the blade and the hickory handle. Customer service and shipping to Hawaii was outstanding. I was so happy with the purchase. My son bought me the same hatchet and I will use it and keep it to pass on once I’m gone! I like to support small family owned businesses like Axeman.
I have multiple hatchets but I wanted a hand forged Swedish hatchet to upgrade from my fiskars.The handle is well fitted and the leather cover is a bonus. Overall it’s a cool looking hatchet. Unfortunately the head is very roughly shaped and seems too heavy for the handle. The shape of the bit is very thick and uneven. I think the core of the problem is that hand forged in Sweden is a very expensive process and the price point of the axe simply doesn’t leave enough time to do the job well.I think you either have to spend quite a bit more for a higher end model or spend less and get a hardware store hatchet that will perform better.
My two 15” Hultafors arrived today. As always Hultafors craftsmanship is superb. I intend to use these two for throwing. I have three other Hultafors in different sizes I’ve been using for 10 plus years . Their quality is the best. Also, I found Axeman very easy to purchase from and shipping was super fast. I had the hatchets four days after purchasing online.
Splits beautifully, well built. Cant think of anything I’d rather have different with it or don’t like. Shipping was fast too
