Eye drops for mild to moderate Dry eye symptoms and contact lens irritation. The surface of your eye is covered by a thin layer of tears, called the Tear Film which protects, nourishes and lubricates the eye. Tears are produced by several systems, and if any part of these systems break down, it can result in a reduced quality or quantity of tears. Tear replacement with eye drops is traditionally considered a mainstay of Dry Eye management. HYLO-Tear contains a natural occurring substance called Sodium Hyaluronate which replenishes the tear film. I need to avoid a common preservative in eye products. This product is preservative free and has a great dropper system. This is the entry level of the range and perfectly fine but I like the next one up, Hylo-Forte better. Just personal preference.
I have had Hylo-tear eye drops before and I have found them to be the best for my dry eye condition. They last a long time - six months - which is very useful as I need to use them long term. Some of the other eye drops you can buy only last one month.
Great eye drops for general use. Worth the little bit extra as they last 6 months after first opening.
Really good moisturising eyedrops. Formulated to be like tears so more effective I find than ordinary drops but more than twice the cost. I use them as i wear contact lenses and my eyes get dry and sore.
These eyedrops being in one container, are much more environmentely friendly than the plastic single use eyedrop containers. They work well for my dry eye condition. Would recommend
