This model is one of the best guitar in this price range.... In this price range many guitar brand like cort fender Jackson etc etc is available but according to me I am using this guitar for last 3 years in stage and also in rehrsl this guitar is produce a huge amount of depth in tonal quality and if I say this guitar is best for rest of the brand in this price segment this statement is totally deserving for this guitar... don't thing twice before buying this guitar....

Got the guitar in flat 4 days! Superb packing and came with a bag. had a nice string set on it which suits me. The factory settings were also very good for a rhythm guitarist. It hardly goes out of tuning. The pickups are really high output and the configuration can bring about a drastic change in the whole sound, be it any genre. It's an RG for the best buck out there!!!! Good for intermediate to advanced players!

If you’re looking for an entry level guitar that looks the business and sounds great, then look no further. For the price you’re getting a guitar that looks and sounds more expensive. Visually the matte finish and crimson fade look flawless. The pickups are surprisingly good, definitely better than expected, this guitar practically begs you to shred until your fingers drop off. At this price point you expect some compromises, the nut is cheap plastic, and the pickups can sound a bit muddy / lacking in character. In my opinion any beginner would feel satisfied with this guitar, and when you outgrow it, could make a good base for modding, I’ve got my eyes on a GraphTek nut and bare knuckle passive pickups!

I had to send the first one back due to a crack in the paint and rust on the frets. So I had to exchange it. The paint job is absolutely beautify and the neck feels absolutely amazing. The pickups are nice for the price. However they sent me with tone and volume knobs that are bent. I hope its just the plastic that holds the knobs in place, should be an easy cheap fix.
Really nice guitar for the money. Neck feels great and the humbuckers are very versatile. Delivery was fast and the guitar was properly packaged. Took one star off because of a few minor blemishes on the guitar (paint job). You can barely see them, so no big deal.
This guitar has very drive sound. It's nice to listen to the great heavy metal / hard rock riffs and very pleasant to use it for playnig melodic solos. Easy to play and great looking model. Highly recommended for rock fans!

I'm a drummer who is a beginner to the guitar. After a lot of research and asking buddies, I made my decision on Ibanez for my first guitar, and then chose the RG421 due to its style, and the price. I knew I would dedicate more time to practice if I was picking up a nice spec'ed guitar, and this has proven true.The RG421 is a great model for both a learner and intermediate player. It feels great in the hands, the pick ups are great, 5 position switch giving the best options too. I chose this model because I wanted a fixed bridge.I also bought a nice amp too... that makes a big difference too. I have a Blackstar HT-5R, and the combo is pure bliss. ;)
The guitar is great I love playing it as the neck width is just right when playing barre chords and I love the satin feeling on the guitar.
