Great sounding wah for bass, which I primarily bought it for, or guitar. Plenty of sweep adjustment. Solidly built. Gets the thumbs up!

V3 is best version of all, with added switch for buffered or true bypass. Previous issues / complaints about the footswitch have been fixed. It’s simple and reliable to operate, needing a firm and perceptible push to activate - meaning you can Wah to fully toe-down without risk of accidentally switching it off.Only niggle could be that the buffer switch is larger than needed - probably due to Ibanez repurposing the tuner-out socket.

I was replacing my Crybaby after about 15 years. The value and brand name attracted me as well as the slim dimensions. I've also been keen for a bass wah and this one has the guitar/bass switch! Sweep control is great to drive the amp a little more as well as filtering!

After the third version of the reissue this is a great pedal with all the problems solved. The buffer mode I prefer it seems to add something to a Strat. The war is quiet and plenty of character
I bought this for the John Frusciante wah sound but it’s capable of so much more. You won’t be disappointed. This is probably my tenth wah over the years. It will be my last one. It’s great.
Using this with a DTX Multi 12 with poor to fair response. Perhaps my playing style is odd but I have to hit this just right to even get a sound. Often there is no sound at all. There is also very poor rebound. That HH pedal is far superior and can be used as a kick pedal (who knew?).
Great Wah pedal. Very durable and excellent sound quality.
WH10V3 - ExperienceHallo 👋🏻I bought the new WH10V3 Wah and this is my impression:This is a really great WAH, it does sound pretty cool if you are more on the dirty side, but of course at the end of the day it‘s up to you and your individual preferences.Whenever people talk about the WH10 they talk about Frusciante, don‘t they?: I like The Red Hot Chili Peppers too, I like Frusciantes Sound but I am not a Fan-Boy.I guess I am a Classic-Rock-Dude, sometimes Funk, some days Metal, so here I go, doing a review about this Wah that suits my needs:Pros:Great, rich and unique sound, wide sweep, very throaty, not a meep-meep-wah.True bypass/buffered bypass switchPlays well with fuzzes and I do like its BIG FAT 80ies-Switch!Small sized Wah that fits ... (depth knob)You do control its Booster from -6 dB up to +12dB.So you can decrease or increase the volume-boost (e.g. gain-boost) and this is the key to its Sound:The WH10 is able to boost (a lot!) and therefor distort your signal to produce this dirty Wah-Tone made famous by John F.;If your signal is already somewhat distorted (crunchy, overdriven, gainy) you won't get any increase in volume, just more gain but no volume-boost.The volume-boost-Issue appears to everybody with a decent clean, cleanish signal - and if so - the depth-knob is your friend! If you dial back the depth-knob you play less boosted and cleaner for e.g. Funk, Pop whatever.Cons:Pretty stiff and hard to engage/disengaged out of the box (especially if you are sitting)Solution:In front, underneath the rocker is a small rubber-bar with four "rubber-teeth".I used a cutter to cut off the two inner "teeth" et voilá - it does engage smooth and easy now.I hope my review is helpful to you.Cheers
Putting this pedal in the chain kills the tone. It works fine and sounds fine when engaged , but when off darkens the tone far too much to be usable. Could be used in studio work, but is otherwise worthless unless you plan on having it on all the time. Can be modded to true bypass to fix, but I would avoid this pedal all together.
there are 200 reviews out there, saying it is a tone sucker. Mine doesnt do that. it is running into a slightly overdriven channel and theres no loss in the high end whatsoever. it does muddy the tone on megaclean, but people mostly buy it because they like the frusciante tone which isnt really clean anyways. once you find that edge of breakup kind of sweet spot on your crunch channel/overdrive pedal (which has to be after the wh10, so closer to the amp) the pedal will do no significant changes to your tone. also on a clean channel it will make a huge volume jump when engaged, the slightly broken up signal will make that behave too.
