IK Multimedia Axe I/O Solo

Execellent audio interface. Simple to set up and use. Sounds great. The free software that comes with it is also excellent. Being able to connect an expression pedal in the back is such a great feature.

Bought this to replace an IRig HD. It sounds much better and has many great features. Love the Z tone and dedicated expression pedal jacks. Wish it had the tuner and preset knob like the Axe I/O. Very low noise interface. Headphones get nice and loud! Highly recommend it.

Amazing interface for the guitarist who wants great feel and really low latency!

I bought this interface expecting an improvement while playing and monitoring real time with plugins like Bias AMP 2 and Amplitube 4. I was not disappointed. The biggest selling points to me: 1) The guitar input works great and gives you a very good "feel" while playing. 2) The latency is kept at a minimum both through the standalone versions of plugins and the VST versions through Reaper. 3) Build quality is also very good and the unit feels solid. You can't go wrong with the Axe I/O Solo. If you need more, you can get its big brother (same name but no "solo").

Axe I/O and DV247 service

The first Axe I/O Solo I received had a clear manufacturers fault as the guitar input and gain pot simply didn't work. I contacted DV247 and received a set of return docs almost by return and sent the unit back to Germany. A replacement unit was sent without question and having passed through the Brexit imposed customs and driver shortage delays has arrived and worked out of the box.Axe I/O Solo is magic. It took me some time to work through the various add-ons that IK give you and I am still getting accustomed to using it but it is streets ahead of my old Line 6 UX2 unit that served me well for 10 years. Convoluted software. IKmultimedia owns the license even after you buy the product. You're just leasing the software. Many complaints about this company on the forums

Solid product

Works great, sounds great. Just the right size for my home studio. I record direct to garageband and via c214 for acoustic guitar.
