What a great size umbrella! I usually have small handbag size ones, or large long umbrellas. But the large ones always take up so much space in the car boot - often having to go diagonal. This ikea version fits perfectly horizontal at the boot door. Perfect size.The quick release is very smooth. Love it and will go back to buy 2 more!!

Lightweight, seems durable but haven't really tested it on strong winds but we do kept losing them 😅 this is the 3rd time we bought this umbrella, bc it's either somebody steals it or borrowed it and never returned it. 🤷🏽

I've bought two of these over this past year, loosing the first one to a forgetful roommate, and I see myself continuing to replace these if they break. They're a handsomely made umbrella that is comfortable to hold. I don't like collapsable umbrellas as they tend to break easier but most umbrellas like this one are slightly too large and cumbersome. This particular size is a perfect fit for me. The only thing preventing a 5 star review is the fabric this is made from. It's sturdy and I haven't had any of the corners come undone, but during very heavy rain I notices some drops leaking through the fabric - possibly due to it's relatively loose weave. But truth be told during this heavy of a rain one's feet will get wet first and foremost due to the size of coverage - ... This is my second Knalla umbrella. I had the grey one so long the colors finally faded. Very good umbrella, not flimsy, easy to open and close. Lightweight. Love it.
I buy these in quantities and when it rains I give them to family, friends, and strangers when I see they need it. There is definitely value for your money. They snap open quickly and hold up pretty well to my toddler playing with them. I have had a couple of the foam handles come off at inopportune moments, which is why I took away one star. (But they are inexpensive.) I also took away one star for appearance because I believe for safety, umbrellas should be bright colors and black has been my only choice for a while. Hopefully, other colors are to come in stock at some point and I am hoping one star removed for appearance will push for the next supply to be brightly colored.
Looking for an umbrella that can open quickly while getting out of the car during heavy rain. This type requires me to open my door wider in order to reach out to the top of the umbrella to push open. I was also considering the longer type but it hasn't got a hook shape handle - for easy hanging or carrying.

The *picking* charges when ordering from online store is exactly what is sounds like : / The item isn't inspected for any damages/defects thoroughly, just picked and packed for shipping.The Umbrella was manufactured a year ago in April. The canopy had quite a sizeable hole in it, seemed like it was created due to improper stitching. The handle has a soft padded grip on it and the handle is long enough so that my whole palm can grip it. Normal umbrella that I've used previously had a small handle and I had to hold it with 3 fingers and half a palm. IKEA's KNALLA is much better when it comes to comfort and quality of life features.I didn't ask for another replacement. Because sending a proof-of-defect video which is less than 25MB in size to fit in a email is a bit complicated for me. I'll see if can get it fixed locally.Cheers!
I was hoping to buy a solid long stem umbrella for the wind and rain in winter and was happy that I found this at Ikea. But it didn't make through just three rainy days. A connection cracked and cannot be repaired. It is not as strong as it looks like.

I went to Ikea really wanting one of the larger blue and yellow golf umbrellas - I’ve had several over the years and wanted to replace my broken one. But this was all there was which was disappointing. It works well, just smaller than I originally wanted.
