So well packaged, that I almost started my own 'un-boxing' You Tube channel! Installation instructions so clear, even an engineer could follow them. Accurate template for cutout. I wouldve given it 5 stars, but for the final bit...The light is held in place with 4 springed clips, similar to downlights, but with the strength of 4 bear-traps, at first attempt crunching two fingers on each hand, whilst perched near the top of a stepladder!! Next thing the cops were around because the neighbours were complaining about the swearing!But seriously, the light is held very snugly by the 4 bear-trap like clips, and the end result is fantastic. A lot easier than installing one of those light tubes, even with the bear traps, and the end result is top notch. Delivery is very hit or miss as it involves parcelforce and customs. Mine is not yet been delivered although promised by 21st June. The illume is excellent, this being my second so far it does what it says and my first has been running successfully for 3 years.

Easy to place in ceiling, solar so no cost and gives good light to a dark room. We are very happy with the product..
They are a bit expensive but easy to install and work well.

Illume skylight A brilliant concept which counters all of the problems of ordinary skylights particularly leaking and heat transference.A great product.
It's not the same as a traditional skylight, but when you can't fit one of those in, it's a useful compromise. It's nice not having to turn on a light or think whether it's a good idea to leave a light on all day when it's not designed for that, so it helps with peace of mind. Quite expensive, but it's cheaper than a normal skylight - if you can install one. I would've liked to get a larger one, and it isn't as bright as I'd like, but I couldn't justify the cost at the time. Now it's going to be very hard to justify a bigger one. I also wonder how much it'll degrade over time. We've been using it during renovations, when we don't have a ceiling and hence light, and it's been a godsend for us.
Very happy with this product, easy to install and they work fantastic!
