I installed this in a 70's style house with combined lounge dining room. It really improved the room. Easy to install and the 9 metre cable gave more installation options. Recommended.

My kitchen has always been dark as it is in the middle of the house where windows are far away, for that reason my wife would always put the lights on even on a sunny day. The amount of light it generates even on a cloudy day is impressive, has definitely made a difference. Not difficult to install took me 2 hours much easier if you have 2 people. Overall very happy

Easy to purchase online and to collect the day later. The skylight alternative is a fantastic unit and was relatively easy to install. My only slight difficulty was the cross trusses in the ceiling that caused my only hiccup. Now that it is installed, it definitely brightens the room and initially you think that you have left the light on in the room. Excellent purchase.
I have had installed 3 sizes of illume skylights ranging from 1200mm to 400mm.Installation is very neat and tidy fitting flush with ceiling. They have turned dark rooms into light filled rooms without power usage
My installer swears by these things.I had 2 done last year with nighttime mains switch attached (Bunnings needs to get these in as they are hard to get now) and the difference is fantastic.The 2 new allumes went to new Kitchen and bathroom reno. It's made a HUGE difference in both rooms, easy to install and neat.
This light is perfect for dark spaces. I have installed 3 and about to install a 4th. They work in low light and I used mine to cover the Ducts from our old evap. cooler that was removed. I used the evap. vent to hold the light. The result was fantastic and they have made our rooms so much brighter.
This product was very easy to install and works brilliantly. Installed in our windowless laundry room, in a double story house so a conventional skylight was not viable. We particularly like the fact that it acts like a real skylight (not just like a solar light). When the sun goes down so does the illumination of the light. On brighter days the light is brighter. At night it completely turns off. I also believe this product is an Australian product which makes it more appealing. Very happy with this purchase.
We had a very dark narrow hallway. Traditional skylights would not be centred due to ceiling constraints and would have cost quadruple the price. We purchased 2 of these skylights and they did not disappoint. We now have an abundance of light that adjusts its brightness in line with the sun.
Works exactly as described. While not super bright it effectively mimics a true skylight in that as a cloud passes over the solar panel or even a bird flys over it the panel dims momentarily. Only criticism relates to the install of the solar panel and the aluminium brackets provided. The instructions are less than clear and the brackets brittle if bent.
