A very good driver, I purchased it after running my last one into the ground; even then, it only broke when I was being very unreasonable with it. Otherwise, its a shame it doesn't have much options in the way so if you do want more than just a driver, you may want a combi drill instead, which you can often buy with the impact driver as a set.

I bought this as part of the Black Friday promotion. It really is a great little thing, light but sturdy construction, I particularly like the afterglow feature on the little LED worklight. Easy to control, seems gentle on the battery life, really good!

A handy little tool added to my makita kit. It's done all that I have needed with ease. It's a lower end model so it's not intended for trade workers but I believe it holds its own very well around the house and jobs in the garage. I can definitely recommend to the handymen out there.

Why did I not buy one of these drivers years ago? I have been working away with battery drills ,using one to drill the pilot holes and another to set the screws.Faced with a job requiring a large number of screws to be set in hardwood, I splashed out and bought this one,The difference is amazing, fast,light and easy to use,and the good news is that the batteries I have are compatible with it.You live and learn.
I have purchased this new wizzy stick yesterday after my old Makita driver's motor gave up the ghost - my own fault, I had left it out in the rain a while ago, then built a whole lean to with it. This new one uses the LXT batteries which I was happier with as they provide a little more time for the wizzy goodness to happen. The clip on the side is a welcome adition as is the after glow light. It has more than enough torque @155Nm and a nice as ever hex bit holder. It's slightly smaller in dimension than my previous one whilst also being slightly more powerful. The wonders of technological advancement right!? It was on sale at 49.99 when I purchased it, and at the price point I think its well worth it!
Very compact driver (same size as my Dewalt 10v driver), yet has lots of power. The price I got this for in the Screwfix sale was irresistible and, after undertaking price comparisons, I found it to be the cheapest around. Would strongly recommend. Bargain.
Bought this and used it same day and for the price I couldn’t fault it, saved me loads of time and effort and as I was working in a small flat and 30 degree heat it was a lot quicker than using a screwdriver. Had an 18v Makita drill and always wanted an impact driver and when I saw the price I grabbed at the chance and would highly recommend it, effortless.
I have not had time to use this yet but from all the reviews I’ve read it’s a cracking little tool. This will be just right as I’m retired and didn’t want anything major like they use in the trade. I bought it in the Black Friday sale and just as well because it’s now back up to full price. I’m well pleased. Screwfix is my go to place for things like this as they have such good deals and very pleasant staff.
Such a powerful and compact piece of kit. Used main drill on screwdriver setting for ages, to use this is a revelation and I can't believe it took me so long to get one! One of the best tool additions i have made in years. And to buy a 'bare unit' makes it so affordable too. The only upgrade I'd like, would be to have pre-set variable speeds.
