Opened my eyes on a new way to video

I had dismissed 360 video for some time (why would you want that?), but my wife made me reevaluate it and now I'm hooked.It's by no means perfect - you'll never get true 4k final results let alone 8k, there are stitching lines, it's not so good in low light (or slightly better than low light) and there's a lot to get your head around during video capture. Then you have to edit the footage, for which you'll need a pretty tasty computer. My MBP M1 Pro Max has never had the fan come on until I got this. And again, video editing with its footage is significant learning curve, and it's at least 50% of the creative process.So why five stars? The 'No Drone' bundle 3m selfie stick is brilliant - and does indeed capture drone-like angles, provide many creative opportunities. I've not even scratched the surface on the action cam side yet, either.I'm using FCPX to edit, which I find gives better results than the Insta software, producing great quality HD footage (4k also). I've found the whole experience really fun and presents a new challenge to a world of video and photography that hasn't (really) changed that much in a long time.The Insta desktop software is easy to use but doesn't stitch clips (easy to do after in any basic video package like iMovie, for example) and the mobile software also works well for those that want to be social quickly and aren't after a true professional look. Both are capable of great results though, and make something very powerful easily useable for someone that has at least basic knowledge of working with video. A complete novice would struggle without help IMHO.Ultimately, this has unlocked a new world of creativity for me and I'm very excited about using it.
