I didn't lose worktop space as this oven doubles up as a toaster. Produces lovely cooked food quickly. I've cooked steaks, chicken, fish, veg, roast potatoes, chips and toast. Didn't leave 4 stars as manufacturers recipes online are difficult to access so cooking times and temperatures are guesswork. Another downside is that when removing trays from oven, cooking juices pour out over the worktop because the trays need to be perforated. The control panel is intuitive and you have the option of reducing or increasing time/temperature during a programme.

I have had my air fryer /oven for a couple of weeks now and I am still discovering lots of things I can do with it. I was a bit reticent about buying an air fryer as I was concerned about eating more fried food. This is however a great machine that can be used as an oven and to some extent as a grill too. (My husband toasts his lunchtime pitta bread in it). It is cheaper and quicker to use than my oven and as there are only 2 of us I find I am now using it more than the oven.It takes a bit of time to get used to the difference in cooking methods but there are lots of recipes and advice on the Ideal website and I have been cooking all sorts of new dishes with it ( Baba Ganash anyone?)

I purchased this to replace another well known brand of a similar style air fryer oven. The 'old' one was still functional, but there were things about it I wasn't so keen on.This product is far superior, in my opinion. It appears to be well made and the oven trays are good quality. Although I haven't had it very long, so far the non-stick coating remains as new. The oven walls are cleaning easily so far, although I haven't used the rotisserie function yet, which I imagine may well produce heavier grease deposits, which may be more difficult to remove. Simple, easy to understand touch buttons and a dial to set time and temperature. Ironically, my old air fryer used to beep rather loudly, whereas this one is almost too quiet. If the cooker hood is on or there is other background noise, I often don't hear it. Perhaps the volume is adjustable and I just haven't found how to alter it yet.Overall, I am so pleased with my purchase and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
As an air fryer it is good. Good capacity, easy to use. However the main reason for buying it was the rotisserie. I have found it impossible to cook a chicken on it despite trying a number of times. It rotates for a few minutes and then cannot rotate the chicken any more. I have been very careful to try and balance the chicken on the spit to no avail, even carefully following the instructions on the video on how to tie it. It is as if the motor is not sufficiently powerful. I have a number of instant products and have been very satisfied but this is a big disappointment.

I read lot of reviews saying airfryers are more effective than the airfryer ovens.However, this airfryer oven completely changed my perception.It comes with very good set of accessories which includes 2 perforated trays and one non perforated tray. Also skewer for the spit-roasting.This oven has three positions while first batch of food is getting air fried, I can keep the second batch at the bottom tray to prepare it, which reduces overall time taken.This oven has large capacity and surprisingly is very effective. Once I bought Instant airfryer oven, I was instantly in love with It. It is faster than my old airfryer and with large capacity.I would definitely recommend this product to everyone.
I've had 2 vortex previously but wanted a bigger one. This so far has been the best. Love the trays as you can cook a number of different items at the same time. Plus I can fit a chicken in, not tried cooking it one yet. I love to make bread and now having the proof opstion I can do it all year round. Ive already cooked soda bread in it plus scones and they were absolutely delicious. You can also fit a 9.5 pizzas in and just move them up a shelf as they are ready to come out.I love this model and it doesn't disappoint. Yes the door feels a little flimsy and could do with a better close fit but it hasn't disruptive my cooking.Would have been nice to have a recipe book but hay it's 2024 everything is on line lol.

So what made me decide in the end to buy this instant vortex 12L Air Fryer oven was mainly for the rottiserie facility and when it arrived I went out bought a chicken got home and put the chicken on the spit and left for 40 minutes to cook and by god it was cooked to perfection. I was that impressed I have been using the air fryer oven every day for absolutely everything breakfast, Lunches, dinners and snacks. I have downloaded a few air fryer recipes and look forward to making these dishes.
