The Intex Single High Airbed is perfect for camping or using for guests at your house. It was so easy to blow up. We bought an electric Intex pump and blew it up in about a minute. It was crazy how fast it blew up. My wife and I used it on a camping trip with our three dogs, and we all fit and slept on the mattress comfortably. It is surprisingly very comfortable to sleep on. I donāt like sleeping on anything but my own bed because I always get back aches, but I slept fine on this inflatable mattress. My mother-in-law also commented on how comfortable it was to sleep on when she used it one of the times she stayed over at our house. I highly recommend this inflatable mattress.

This is the third Intex air mattress I have purchased of this kind. I actually use it to float on a creek nearby and use it all summer long. I was impressed because I bought my last one in late summer 2021 and it made it through all of summer 2022, using it several times a week. It finally sprung a leak early in summer 2023, but I more than got my moneyās worth, which is why I gladly got another one. The first one also made it several months until some stranger decided to sit on it while it was drying out on a bed of rocks and it popped a hole in it. That was not Intexās fault, since one would expect a plastic/ rubber air matress to pop a hole on sharp rocks. As long as you keep it away from rocks, this air mattress can give you well up to 100 uses or more.

Do NOT buy this bed!! I purchased this within the last week and it doesn't last through one night even after the standard few nights of stretching and deflating that's normal for new air beds. Problems lies in the double Valve system. As soon as it's inflated even a little bit, the big main valve plug pops open like a loose cork. If you look at it wrong, it pops right open and deflates. Intex used to be great beds for cheap, but even this won't last a night. I'm not looking for a high quality bed at this price ranges but I expect thr product to do its job at least right ONCE when I buy it. Ive exchanged this product three times for a new one of the same type (since I opened it, they only exchanged it) and all three did this. Save your money. Buy a sleeping bag. I purchased the Intex 10in Standard Dura-Beam airbed mattress from Walmart with high hopes of having a reliable and comfortable mattress for weekend use. However, my experience with this product has been incredibly disappointing. After just a month of use, the mattress began to deflate overnight, leaving me with the frustrating task of having to pump it up 4 to 6 times just to get through the night. The problem worsened when I realized that the mattress was leaking air, but despite my efforts, I couldnāt locate the source of the leaks. This issue has been a major inconvenience, especially considering my busy schedule.I initially intended to address the problem by taking advantage of the return or replacement policy. Unfortunately, due to my procrastination and the constraints of my schedule, I missed the window for returning the mattress. This has left me in a difficult situation, as I canāt find any option for returning or exchanging it for a more reliable and durable alternative. As it stands, Iām left with a mattress that serves as nothing more than trash. Iām disappointed in the quality and durability of this product, and Iām frustrated by the lack of options available to rectify the situation. I strongly advise potential buyers to exercise caution and consider alternative options before investing in the Intex 10in Standard Dura-Beam airbed mattress.
I purchased this through Walmart pickup. I didnāt notice this mattress had been opened and taped shut. So I opened it thinking well maybe the seal was broken at the store. Uh no! This mattress was used. It was so nasty! It was covered in filth. Also looks like someone peed in the middle. Smelt like a dogs had been sleeping in it as well. Covered in like black hair bands and glitter. I tried to take it back Walmart would only exchange with a like mattress or a more expensive one. No refund allowed even though I just bought it through pickup. State law they are not to resell an opened air mattress!
Pros: easy to use, fast, quiet, comfortable, no leaks, easy to deflateCons: noneThe Intex 10ā Twin Dura-Beam Single-High Airbed with 2-Step Battery Inflation System is really nice! This airbed is easy to set up, comfortable, and easy to deflate. The instructions on how to inflate and deflate this airbed are super easy and straightforward to understand. To inflate, all you have to do is open the pump cover, insert the batteries in the pump, then place it inside the bed, turn it on, let it inflate most of the way, then promptly shut the pump cover to turn it off. Then you flip the mattress over, you un-screw the cap to the pressure adjuster, take out the plug, and then depress the mattress and then release it until the mattress is nice and full, then replace the ...Ā MorePros: easy to use, fast, quiet, comfortable, no leaks, easy to deflateCons: noneThe Intex 10ā Twin Dura-Beam Single-High Airbed with 2-Step Battery Inflation System is really nice! This mattress is comfortable, it doesnāt leak, and stays inflated during use.To deflate the mattress, all you have to do is open the pump cover, take out the pump and let the air come out. Then you can roll it up. Otherwise, you can deflate it by taking out the pump, turning it on, then placing the other side of the pump into the opening and let it suck out air that way. I found it faster to just remove the pump all together. All in all, this is a really nice airbed! Itās very easy to use, it fills up fast, and it works well! I would absolutely recommend it!
Good mattress. I've been sleeping on these mattresses for 20 years now for my back. They last about 3 months then start sagging in the middle. I flip them over until it sags again due to stretching out then buy new one. Often they will pop after about 3 months so buy new one. Very hot due to vinyl surface, can never find holes when they get one so have never been able to patch the mattress. I prefer the 8 inch thick mattress they use to sell as 10 inch just stretches out making bigger mattress. I prefer these mattresses over a sleep number mattress and other expensive ones because you refresh them every 3-4 months, sleep the same and much cheaper to replace than an expensive mattress especially when it gets one tiny hole you can never find to patch. This is an awesome airbed. It's 10inch queen size. It is so ingeniously simple. There are no parts other than the bed. The air pump is integrated into the head of the bed powered by batery. The pump has a large air vent with an on/off switch. Just unfold the bed, turn the switch on.I timed the process to see how long it would take to fill and empty the bed. It took just 2 minutes to fill it up and then it took just 2 minutes to completely empty the bed, and the pump sucks all the air out so it is easy to fold up and put away again. I've owned manually inflated airbeds and they are not that convenient. You have to have a separate pump and the valve you fill them through is not nearly as large as what is on this bed, so they take a long time to fill and empty. I've owned manually inflated airbeds and they are not that convenient. You have to have a separate pump and the valve you fill them through is not nearly as large as what is on this bed, so they take a long time to fill and empty. They also require a lot of manual pressing and squeezing to get all the air out. This bed eliminates all of that. I do think if it would be more comfortable if it had a flatter sleeping surface. The bed has several convex rows that feel bumpy to lay on, but it's not uncomfortable and you can easily adjust the firmness of the bed by simply rotating the air valve knob to let a bit of air out. It seems durable, but only time will tell. It is truly well thought out and engineered. I'm very happy with this product.
Not sure why so many of the reviewers had such a hard time reading the enclosed instructions on how to use the step portion to fill the bed completely to firmness, but anyway, I'm coming to defend this bed because for the last 6 months straight, all 250 arthritic pounds of me has been sleeping on this thing every night. It has only now failed - not due to popping, but because the channel seams split from the incredible stress I put it through and there's a massive lump in the bed that makes it impossible to lay on. The fact that I got this much use out of it for a meager $30 is astounding. The only reason I took a star off is because it is now 4:09am and I've been lying awake for an hour on my friend's couch because the channel seams chose to fail at 3am on the dot ...Ā MoreNot sure why so many of the reviewers had such a hard time reading the enclosed instructions on how to use the step portion to fill the bed completely to firmness, but anyway, I'm coming to defend this bed because for the last 6 months straight, all 250 arthritic pounds of me has been sleeping on this thing every night. The only reason I took a star off is because it is now 4:09am and I've been lying awake for an hour on my friend's couch because the channel seams chose to fail at 3am on the dot when I have to be awake for work at 5:45am so I'm a bit salty about my sleep deprivation. Other than that, this bed takes WAY more abuse than it was probably ever designed for, so for $30, just do it. It'll serve you much better than you'd think. Also, if Intex would like to get in touch with me, I'm a professional technical writer and would love to help you redesign your instructions so people stop unfairly slandering your beds. Let me know; I'm available for contract.
Had a horrible experience trying to price match this exact same air mattress at target but I think they were just mad cause Walmart had the same item but cheaper. Itās so sad cause I shop at target multiple times a week since my local Walmart is pretty far from me and I live down the street from target.First off , the mattress is great, super comfortable, docent leak air, itās firm and after the first couple uses, the mattress dose stretch but you just have to add more air and your good to go. But this review is more about my experience purchasing this item.Anyways, I ended up taking the drive to my nearest Walmart after having, what I think was the shift lead? from target be extremely rude to me and refused to price match it , so what was supposed to be a quick ...Ā MoreHad a horrible experience trying to price match this exact same air mattress at target but I think they were just mad cause Walmart had the same item but cheaper. But this review is more about my experience purchasing this item.Anyways, I ended up taking the drive to my nearest Walmart after having, what I think was the shift lead? from target be extremely rude to me and refused to price match it , so what was supposed to be a quick $12 Walmart trip ended up being a $70 Walmart trip because I took advantage of the drive and picked up a bunch of other stuff I needed. And to top it all off , the air mattress at Walmart was ringing up as $14.99 , I told the cashier it was $11 on the website and she automatically changed it , no question asked , without even checking the price on the website.Iāve genuinely never had any issues with Walmart my whole life, the staff and my local Walmart is wonderful, never had a rude employee, couldnāt say the same for my local target , Iāve had several bad encounters even though I am a loyal frequent costumer but unfortunately my local Walmart is located in a lower income area so itās gotten a bad rep by the community being labeled as āghettoā but recently since after the pandemic , Walmart the company itās self is far more better then target now. I feel like all the praise people have given target as being the best store ever , has gone through there head and just became basic and just hired anybody to run there stores .I just wish I had a more near Walmart but target outnumbers the 4 targets located in just about every 10 miles from me. But love Walmart and I will continue to shop there since Iām always treated right .
