I have been using the Ionmay for one month and it's amazing. In 8 hours it collects 4l of water and gets humidity below 60 percent.It's easy to empty the largev4 litter water container even when it's completely full. The full container auto switch off works well too.I like the different options for humidity selection in5% steps and 4 different power levels. I used to run it on "Auto" but "Low" is sufficient for me and creates only little airflow noise. Like a heater on low. Love the 2 years warranty and the good build quality.

I have previously two Ionmax 612 dehumidifiers from Andatech and both continue to work well years down the track. However with the massive wet we have experienced throughout this past Summer, I decided to add another unit to the line-up to do another part of the house, and opted for the Ionmax Vienna ION630 unit as this has a substantially larger collection tank.I am mosyt happy with the unit: it works superbly ( as expected!) and requires emptying less frequently. And the black casing is a pleasant change from the white of the earlier models.Sales & service-wise, I find Andatech excellent to deal with: they carry my confidence!

They do take out 10L per day each. They are a little noisier than the specs suggest which was a little disappointing, and they also generate a lot of heat, so I imagine summer will be challenging. On the warmer day last week (25 C and raining outside) we needed to run our portable air con units at the same time to keep the house at a comfortable temperature.

My previous ION612 worked perfectly for 4 years until it started leaking from the base making it unuseable. Purchased the Vienne as all other Ionmax models were sold out. Is a lot bigger and is doing a great job, but the water collection tank is very hard to remove ( don't try it if its full), and it has no louvres to direct the warm air (just a vent that goes upwards). The ION612 had adjustable fins to direct warm air which is what you need on the laundry function. Not as happy with this model and hope for the price it lasts longer than 4 years.
Bought this to replace a 15 year old Delonghi. I live on a shaded hillside in outer Sydney and lower levels are usually above 75% humidity.In a 15sq/m room at 14°c & 79% humidity, this unit dropped it to 73% after 24 hours but raised the temperature to 26°c. In other words no good.At 14° it does dehumidify slightly but at 25° most definitely not. Power draw is 700 watts non stop. The fan is louder than usual but there's no hum.Via online reviews & the ionmax website, I was led to believe this was a good choice. Unfortunately I was mislead. Although Bing Lee was extremely helpful and It was my choice to purchase this.I can see this unit being very useful if you live in the snowy mountains in sub zero temperatures.I returned returned it and purchased another ... MoreBought this to replace a 15 year old Delonghi. So far I have extracted 64 litres of moisture from the ground floor. Internal house is 383 square metres. I am a Choice consumer magazine member and use their reviews before purchasing a product. Shame about being manufactured in China. I am using negative ion feature. No smells. The instructions clearly state that the unit absorbs odors such as cigarette, deodorant etc smells in the home, heats and discharges into the room. So far air filter is clean. This big unit absolutely strips moisture from the air at a great rate. Used in a double garage which doubles as an indoor laundry, everything dries overnight in the depth of a wet winter. Rooms with mould issues are bone dry after a few days of deep drying. The machine's built-in humidity monitor reads up to 10% higher than a verified humidity monitor, but independent monitoring does verify the quick effectiveness of the machine. A dehumidifier has become as essential as an air purifier these days, and this unit is perfect. One day someone will think to combine a HEPA filter with a dehumidifier. Its just a pity that IONMAX can't maintain supply, or that these machines can't be manufactured locally.
I love this dehumidifier so much that I bought a second one. Unbelievable how much moisture they extract. They work remarkably well in cool damp areas of my house that are not heated and therefore musty during the winter. They draw 4 litres of water in around 10-12 hours, leaving the rooms fresh and dry. They have made a huge difference and work so much better than those pots of damp-rid that I used in past winters. The Ionmax is easy to move around and the removable tray makes it easy to empty the water without spills. The only thing I don't like about the unit is the noise that it makes - a low hum. Definitely not a big problem though, and I would recommend the product and Andatech for no fuss on-line purchasing and very quick, well packaged delivery.
Purchased the Ionmax Vienne because our bedroom had rainwater seep into the room from recent rain. We needed to dry out the concrete and the Ionmax Vienne has done an amazing job. After placing the dehumidifier in the room the musty odour was gone within 2 days and it has pulled about 12 litres of water daily - running it for about 16 hours a day. It is a great looking machine. There is a slight noise when running but not offensive. It is easier to pull the tank drawer out from the machine with both hands. Would highly recommend this machine.
It’s amazing just how much moisture use to be in our home. We live in a sub tropical part of the Central Coast NSW amid tree ferns, palms & a gully. As lovely as that is I couldn’t stop the mould in the house. Since purchasing this model we are getting a minimum of 10 litres a day just from downstairs alone. It’s working so well I purchased another dehumidifier for upstairs & move it from room to room getting another 4-6 litres a day. Best thing… no more mould.
