JLab Go Air Pop Clear True Wireless Earbuds

I've gone through many headphones. My last pair were quite expensive aswell, around 150-200$ and comparing them is something hard for me to do cuz Jlab is actually just better in so many ways. Now I haven't tried very very expensive headphones myself (I'm broke) but I can confidently say that for the price they are Jlab is the best pair of headphones I've ever owned. They have be aware mode wich is great for joggers/runners ect. And a lovely sound cancelling! It has the different modes base boost/balanced and ofc JLab signature all very great. I did not buy these from The Source, but I wanted to leave a review anyway. I did not have wireless headphones before these - it was a suggested upsell when I bought a new phone. It was a cheap offer so I said sure, why not.Wireless headphones sort of changed my life. Gone are the days where I don't take headphones with me to certain places because of how stupid you look walking around with a wire dangling down your head to your pocket. Gone are the days of the headphones no longer working because the connection part to the device breaks (this is an issue with cheaper headphones, which I always buy because I am not an audiophile who can justify the $300+ "fancy headphones" - but even with those "better" devices you can still accidentally destroy the connection cable.) Gone are the days of the headphones being clunky to carry with you (either the big cases, for over the ear headphones, or shoving a wire with buds attached to it if its the in-ear buds.) I use my wireless headphones to listen to music and podcasts and videos when doing chores around the house or dishes, or walking to / from work, or when on the laptop at night. I live with my girlfriend and 3 kids so I do not have the luxury of just blasting sound everywhere I go. Furthermore, for doing things like chores and what not, if you are moving about the house, you have to take your phone with you typically if you have headphones attached because otherwise you won't be able to hear what's playing if you leave the room. And if you're doing vacuuming or something loud, you won't be able to hear without headphones. I can go on and on but the leap from wired to wireless is amazing. the only one complaint would be if the device you are used to doesn't take Bluetooth, these are useless. Also, if you forget your wireless earbuds and only have a wired set of headphones, and your new device only takes Bluetooth, you will similarly be out of luck. But this is just an adjustment period sort of thing to deal with, which you will get used to.The sound quality is perfectly acceptable and I do not suffer any sort of issues with audio playback due to the sound coming in wirelessly. If you are very far from the device, of course, you will. But in your standard home, even if you are one floor away, it will still connect usually fine if you are right over where the device is on the floor above or below you. Moving much farther will kill the connection. In the same room, you can probably get about 20 feet of range, much farther than any set of headphones that are wired that I have ever heard of.A minor gripe is that, if you pull these out of the case in anticipation of connecting with something, then you leave the case behind, and you fail to connect them to the device in time, they will "time out" and the only way to turn them back on will be to place them back in the case. So I guess if you have a hectic sort of life (like me) don't forget to take the case with you at all times when you are using the headphones, otherwise you may end up in a circumstance where the headphones are functionally useless. I guess another one is that you will want to have a fairly decent grip on the buds themselves when putting them in / out of your ear because if you drop these little things, well, depending on where you drop them they may not be retrievable. At least with wired headphones, if you drop them by mistake, they will still be physically tethered to your device.I would rate 4.5 stars if that were an option, but I lean more towards 5 stars anyway, so hence my rating. If you are looking for the best audio quality ever, obviously you should know, these are not it. These are affordable, practical headphones.

BEST earbuds for the price!

I bought my first pair of these jlab earbuds almost 2 years ago and they served me well. The sound quality was excellent. They fit my ears well. They stayed in my ears through my many runs. The battery life was beyond my expectations. I loved that the charging USB was directly attached to the case-less cord mess! I loved how I could only use one ear bud at a time if needed, such as if I'm just trying to watch some videos but still needed to be able to hear if my husband or son needed me. But sadly after almost 2 years the sound on the right bud started to fade. It was time to make a decision. I'm sure you could get higher-quality earbuds if you're an audiophile looking for top-tier sound but the sound on these is perfect for regular music lovers in my opinion. And the price is even better. I would honestly be expecting to pay double the cost for the quality of these headphones!Also, if you're like me and a runner who wears glasses so you can't use the wrap-around-the-ear earbuds, these stay in your ear great on long runs and only drained to about 60% battery even after my longest run at 3 hours, at medium-high volume.

I have accidentally put these through a wash and they have been just fine. Absolutely durable, despite a cheaper build quality for the case and buds, they still are perfectly good enough. The sound is fine, not much extra detail or open sound, but it doesnt sound bad either, just normal. Jlab signature sound is fun to listen to, and Balanced sound tones the instruments back and puts voices forward, which makes them easy to listen to when I work for long periods of time with only 1 in my ear, without getting ear fatigue. That also means the fit is fine. It isnt the greatest seal, but that means it doesnt irritate or tickle my ear either like some other buds. And the battery life lasts longer than expected. Best earbuds I have ever tried! Bonus: LOW COST!

I LOVE these earbuds!!! I have tried so many brands and types of low cost earbuds (under$40)and these by far surpass them all. I lost my first pair but have 2 right now. I keep one in my bag so I always have them with me. For me they have been the only ones that will stay comfortably in my ear without falling out. You can use the left OR right independently, or together, which was big for me. In different circumstances I prefer to use one side over the other and a lot of brands don’t do that.The case is a great size, very compact and has the absolutely amazing feature of the charger built in to it.These headphones have touch control options my brain just can’t rememberwhich side controls what, that’s a user error though. When I do remember…it works well. Volume and play/pause, answer/end calls, skip 1 and go back 1. The commands are split. For example, volume up is the right earbud and down is left. So for full function of tap controls both earbuds need to be worn at once. I like to keep one ear open so using my device to control those things works just fine. I have an iPhone, and the set up and use is very simple and easy. This brand has anoise canceling version that I have not tried but the fit and sound with these standard JLab Go Air Pop headphones is great for traveling, drowns out and stands out above 5 kids(sometimes more if friends are coming along) in a passenger van with road noise, the radio on, and sometimes a tablet playing outloud. Also great on airplanes. I haven’t ever timed the full charge but it doesn’t take long to get a good to full charge and with how easy it is to charge on the go and if you can use one earbud at a time the battery life can be stretched. I don’t usually have to charge the case in less than a week. Your usage amount of course will change that. Overall I highly recommend these to everyone.

Great Everything

I have had my fair share of earbuds from some of the bigger brands out there, Sennheiser, Apple Pros 1 and 2, Bose and the newer Beats. I will not take away from them because they all sounded great and were what one would expect when paying $200 a pop. What I will say is that hands down these Go Air Pop True Wireless Earbuds that I recently picked up were not anything like I expected them to be, first things first the price point is unbelievable and I think I only paid !0% of what I paid for any of the ones I mentioned above and secondly the sound quality, features, battery life and over all build is on par with every previous pair of earbuds I have had and in some of these areas considerably better. This is my first pair of Bluetooth earbuds; I had held off on buying a pair of wireless earbuds because everything I read indicated that I would have to pay a lot if I wanted decent sound quality. However, the reviews of these earbuds were overwhelmingly positive in that area, so I bought a pair on Black Friday.The sound is indeed good for the price range. Perhaps the quality is a little tinny compared to my wired EarPods, but according to reviews, other Bluetooth earbuds under the luxury price range have very tinny or murky sound. After 2 or 3 hours of use (after starting with a full battery), phone calls are compromised; what I hear is crackly and the other party says that I break up too much to be understood. Sometimes, though, that seems to be because I am too close to my phone. The reception will often improve if I get a foot or two away from my phone. For some reason, if I wear them while running water to wash dishes or wash my hands, the sound also gets garbled.They are good for around 4 hours of music, then they start to fade. The case doesn’t charge them that well on its own. If just use the case instead of plugging the case in with the buds in the case, I get the “battery full” announcement but they start losing clarity for music and phone calls after an hour and die after a couple of hours.I’m still happy with them. They’re cute, they fit comfortably, the sound is good, and listening to music and talking on the phone hands-free is great! Besides, they are priced fairly at $25 and a great bargain at the Black Friday price of $10. I even bought a second pair as a backup when I misplaced the case. I recommend these as a first pair of wireless earbuds for anyone curious to see if they are comfortable or for a young person who is hard on their belongings and prone to losing small objects, since they are good but inexpensive to replace.

The best dollar for dollar value on earbuds

I purchased these earbuds from Walmart when they were $10 a pair. Without having a waterproof rating from the manufacture I decided to give them a test in the pool. I was amazed to find out that after jumping in the deep end, the earbuds continued to work flawlessly. I have used them many times while swimming and they have performed seamlessly. The case is not waterproof and the instructions say not to put the earbuds in the case if they are wet. You do not need to find a charging cable as one is built into the carrying case. All you need is a USB charging port. I have yet to get the earbuds to run out of battery life in a single use. You can spend hundreds of dollars for a pair of earbuds that can get lost or stolen. On the “Balanced” EQ setting, the confusingly-named JLab Audio Go Air Pops compare favorably with the AirPods Pro, giving you about 90% of the clarity with a little more bass. They are not quite as hi-fi, but if you’re looking for something to listen critically, I wouldn’t be looking at in-ear headphones anyway. For just enjoying some music on vacation or watching something on my iPhone, these are more than acceptable, and the additional quality and features of the AirPods Pro are absolutely NOT worth 12x more to me. The case feels sorta cheap, but it’s lightweight and does a really good job of holding the earbuds in magnetically (much better than the AirPods Pro, in fact).Of course, these do not have active noise cancelling, although the fit for me is quite good and passively cancels quite a bit of ambient noise. Nor does it have any sort of transparency mode (a feature I do use with the AirPods Pro). Also, these will not connect to more than a single device, and disconnecting/pairing is too cumbersome to warrant doing regularly between devices. In my case, I typically use wireless on-ears or wired headphones with my MacBook Pro, so this isn’t a big deal, but it’s worth mentioning if you want something for multiple devices. The touch controls are fairly responsive for single- and double-tap gestures, but changing EQ settings with a triple-tap can be a real test of patience. Still, it’s easy to live with as I haven’t really needed to use anything beyond the basic gestures after getting it set to “Balanced,” which is where these headphones sound best for most music (I’m a rock/metal/alternative fan, so YMMV).Overall, for the 20-25 bucks they cost, these are extremely good little headphones. Highly recommended.
