Its well designed handle is comfortable to hold and use.It is well balanced and does remain securely in your hand even when peeling difficult shapes.Extremely sharp blade and comes with a protective plastic shield.Very easy to clean as there are no awkward hard to reach places to trap anything.

I'm rubbish at peeling potatoes but while staying at my mother's house found one of these peelers in her kitchen. I used it and it was fantastic so I Googled the company, found their website and ordered one for myself. It was delivered within 48 hours and I now use it all the time. Peels potatoes quickly, easily and well! Highly recommended.

Possibly a case of style over practicality. I got mine to replace an old straight peeler that was rusting. This one is certainly sharp, but the enclosed design means that fast peeling (outwards) is impossible as each bit of peel loops back and clogs the space between the blades and the enclosure. Should have gone for a simpler (and cheaper) one!
